"My lord!" my palladin calls me out. "Yes what is it?" I ask. "The dark force..." he stops, trying to catch his breath. "T-they have conquered three countries yesterday..." he continue. I bite my lips, thinking a strategy. "What should we do now, my lord?" he asks. I take a deep breath and close my eyes. "First, we must find a strong kingdom and put my sister in their protection. This way, Aisitti's future is bright even if we failed to protect it. I'm sure she can rebuild back Aisitti back with the help of that country." I explain. The palladin smiles. "My lord, I might know where is the country you referring to." the palladin knight's words catch my attention. "Spill the beans, my friend." I ask him. "3 days of travelling to the south, there is a kingdom named Gallete. Rumour said there is a man has successfully slayed five dragons alone." the palladin tells. I nod, know what to do now.
"Alright, my friend. Let's make our preparation to the kingdom that you mentioned about and test this man's strength, shall we?" I give order to him. "I will carry out your order gladly, my lord!" the palladin leaves. If what the palladin told is true, I will not have any worry regarding Charlotte's safety. I think I will have a nap first. My eyelids slowly close as the antic clock's sound acts as a lullaby, drifting me into a deep slumber. "My lord!" the palladin calls me. His high voice wakes me up. "Yes, my friend?" I reply, trying to hide my drowsiness. "The preparation is complete. The carriage is good to go anytime you want, my lord!" he tells. I nod. "Tell Charlotte about this because we'll be heading out tommorow!" I tell him. He nods and leaves.
With that has been settled, I have to ask the minister to watch over the country for awhile. I close my eyes as I'm getting sleepy again. Just right before my eyelids close, a pair of hands cup my eyes, blacking out my vision. "Who is this?" a woman voice asks. I know this childish voice. "Melora." I answer. "Bingo!"she answers as she walks in front of me. "Melora, can you watch over the kingdom for awhile, I have some business tomorrow?" I making a request to her. She pouts a bit before agreeing. "No problem! chief! Just don't forget to buy me some souvenirs, okay?" she agrees with conditions. I nod, agreeing with the orange haired girl, who jumps in joy.
Three days later, we finally arrive at the Gallete's castle. The palladin stops the carriage as he notices the man that fit with the rumour. I get out of the carriage to see him. As I fear, he doesn't seem to have a strong impression, maybe I should do something bad to the Empress Leo first. I throw away my shame and start disturbing her. I quickly catch her hand before her slap hit me. Then, the guy suddenly falls from the sky, trying to slash me. I dodge his attacks and to my luck, palladin arrive to shield me. "Thanks, buddy." I whispers to him. I still do not satisfied yet, how strong is this guy really? He slayed five dragons? But he attacks are lousy. I decide to test his skills in the arena with a bet, if he lose Emperess Leo will marry me. Looks like he has taken the bait.
Before the battle starts, I give a quick hug to the palladin. "Be safe." I say to him as he enter the arena. I rush towards the VIP seat to watch the battle. My sister hasn't talk to me when we start the journey. I wonder if she's angry with me. As the battle goes on, it looks like the bodyguard is going to lose. What a shame. My best friend will end the battle in one attack. Suddenly, a petit red dragon rushes towards the bodyguard and bites him. My palladin tries to save him by killing the dragon but the bodyguard defend it with her back. Just before the sword sharp point, could even touch his back, the bodyguard and the dragon start to glow. Wait! Is this? The legendary technique? Metaphormosis? A technique which let a person to fuse with another being? Looks like I have underestimated him. The new form of the bodyguard takes out my palladin with a punch. The crowds cheer up for their winner. My palladin is unable to move due to exhaustion. Suddenly, the bodyguard too faints due to the same thing. I rush towards the battlefield to check up both of them. Phew! Both of them are good. The doctor rushes towards the fainted fighters. The bodyguard quickly been taken care of.
