The curse of the Beast
Part 1
Time passes, people move on but memories of those who are long gone are never too far from our minds.
Chapter 1
Far but not far enough away a young woman sits in a dark cage alone beneath the earth's surface. She Stares all around her at the other people that sit in there cage's with blank looks on their faces and no hope in their hearts for escape from this prison. She assumed that they all had a reason that they were being held here and why they could not escape.
Her name was Victoria Aquamarine Orndolf and she was an assassin and that why exactly why she was in here. She had been on a mission when she was taken to this awful place and kept in this cage and drugged with something to keep her weak and incapable of breaking the steel bars of her cage. Vic had tried to get free numerous times but every time someone had come in to stop her from getting free. She was about to give up when one night saved her life and changed her way of thinking forever.
"Do you know?" A wicked voice said behind her and she didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.
"Do I know what?" she replied back in a monotone voice, still looking into the darkness and not at the voice.
"About the beast" she whispered as if it was some secret and judging by the numerous gasps of shock and heads turning in her direction she thought it was.
"I've heard rumors, but I won't believe it till I see it with my own eyes" Vic said as her eye caught the light streaming in from a small window numerous yards above her. As she looked up at the moonlight her amethyst eyes shined a light blue color.
"You soon will and I guarantee it will turn your world upside down" she said and then took a breath and continued "Everything you have come to know will change and nothing will ever be the same again"
"O really?" she responded, sarcastically, and that made the voice angry. The owner of the voice came around to the other side of her cage to where Victoria had her face leaning against the bars of her cage. She didn't even blink when the hideous female face was only centimeters from her own creamy white skin.
"I promise you, your life will be much better if you would just stay in this cage for the rest of your life" she whispered then smiled wickedly and backed up into the darkness.
"How could that be?" she said because she knew the demon girl was lurking in the darkness, enjoying watching the other people in the cages. How with each passing moment there hope faded and was replaced by desperation.
"O what would be the fun of ruining the end of the story for you? It has hardly begun." She said while coming over to the girl again and running her long finger nailed hand threw Victoria's beautiful long black hair. Desperately trying to get a reaction out of the girl but failing because she just kept that blank look on her face.
"Well I shall let you sleep in peace now" the girl said as she took a syringe out of her dress and Victoria fell into the darkness that surrounded her in a split second.
Far from the underground haven where Victoria was being held a shadow moved quickly through the darkness weaving in between the trees and brush, and just by the way it was moving you would tell it new exactly where it was going.
"What are we going to do about the girl?" an old woman said to the demon girl quietly in the study of the haven.
"Victoria? I haven't exactly figured that out yet, her parents are way to powerful they could easily have an entire army out looking for her by morning if she is not back home soon. Or worse that boyfriend of hers is probably already looking for her it is only a matter of time before he tracks her scent and gets rid of us all."
