Disappear.
Hey guys. This is my first story, i have English as a second language. Hope you like it :D
Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Ellona. She lived in a small city in north Europe. She was popular at her school and everyone thought that she was a happy person, no one had any idea that Ellona cried herself to sleep almost every night. She wasn't alone but she felt lonely, and that's a whole different thing. She wanted more attention from the people around her, but why would they give attention to a happy young girl?
As the time flew, Ellona became more depressed than ever and she lost all her confidence. She lost everything but no one had any idea, she was slowly dragging herself away from everyone because she thought that if she maybe stopped herself from talking to many people, she wouldn't get hurt. She was different and liked stuff that teenagers didn't even think about, she had a different taste in music, she liked books and writing short stories. She wanted to be a writer, that was her biggest dream, but the problem was that she didn't have anyone to support her and believe in her and tell her 'yes you can do it!' She wished that someone would give her some attention, sometimes she wished that she had someone's shoulder to cry on, but no... No one was there for her, not a single person.
One day, she got tired of everything so she decided to run away, leave the country and disappear forever. She thought of running away to England but she couldn't because it was far away from where she was living and she didn't have enough money to buy a ticket, so she found a map of her country and found the farthest city and planned to leave there. In the morning, she packed up her stuff, left a note on her bed and waited until everyone was out of the house and then she left.
She wanted to try new things and live a little, so she changed her clothing style and instead of wearing plain boring jeans, she wore some black ripped jeans, and an oversized jacket and she stole a pack of cigarettes from her older brother.
Once that she was at the train station, she took the train to the farthest place she could get to. After straight four long hours of sitting in the train and doing nothing but stressing, she had finally arrived.
When she got out of the train, she lit a cigarette and started smoking. Being alone and away from everything felt good for her, she wanted to stay like this forever but she couldn't, like everyone else said...Nothing lasts forever.
She needed time; she wanted to be free, to be herself without worrying about what other people thought of her or judged her.
After several hours of walking around in the foreign city her cell phone started ringing. It was her mom, and of course, she didn't answer, but then she got a message from her mom asking her where she was and why she was late. However, no one had any idea that she was miles away from home. No one had any idea about anything.
After a couple of hours her cell phone started ringing again but it was her sister this time. She wrote a message saying that she had read the note and she had to come back wherever the hell she was, because her mother nearly had a heart attack. She called a few times more but Ellona of course being herself did not answer. She got a little bit worried about her mother though. She felt so selfish but she didn't want to go home yet.
After a long time of thinking what to do, she decided to go back home, so she wrote a message to her sister saying that she was fine and that she was coming back home. So she found the way to the train station, she bought her ticket and sat in the train. By that time, she had already started crying. She was afraid that someone was going to see her crying, but honestly... for the first time she didn't care that much what other people thought about her.
She needed help, that's for sure. She had to change her life, she had to be the person she wanted to be and not think about what people thought about her, she had to live a little, try new things and never be afraid of getting hurt. She had to live her dreams and just... be happy. She had do whatever she wanted to and not think about anything. Leaving everything behind wasn't a good idea. You can't run away from your life forever. Live for yourself, not others.
You only live once.
