Tennis Play Offs!

Hey guy- *dodges tomatoes* Ok, ok I know that I haven't been posting that much but I have a reason! Ok I got too many Assessment tasks for school even homework and a exam coming. Also I was suffering a bit of Writers Block but finally passed it! I'm so so- *dodges piano* I SAID I WAS SORRY!! Anyway's I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Sapphires P.O.V

We finally made it to the table as we all ate the food and having a drink. There was a couple of soft drinks, juice and water. I'm not a fizzy drink person, so I poured myself an apple juice since I like apple juice. As I took a sip of it I've noticed that the blue blur is gone... Where did he go now? I looked around to see a blue blur going around in the tennis court. I was a bit interested on what he's doing so I started to put one foot to the other going to the tennis court. As I made it there I see Sonic going almost in circles playing tennis with himself. I smirk a little as he was about to hit the ball I used my plant abilities to grab it off him as he ran the other way looking confused.

"Huh? What the..." Sonic turned around in circles trying to find the green ball. Heh, he looks so funny!

"Looking for this?" I say as I show the ball in the middle of the court. He rolled his eyes as the ball came into view and grabbed it off from the plant walking up to me in front of the net around the court.

"You did that on purpose."

"Well, I was pretty bored."

"Well, If you're still pretty bored then come and play Tennis with me." He says with his tennis racket facing the court around him. I smirk as I open the gate to come on.

"Looks like it's a date!" I joked looking at Sonic's eyes widen in shock.

"W-what? I-I d-didn't... I Uh.." He began to stutter, his cheeks starting to turn red like a tomato. I laughed and nudged his shoulder playfully.

"I was joking!" I still laugh grabbing a tennis racket from the ground and swishing it around the air making some kind of noise. Sonic blew some air out in relief and held onto the tennis racket with a strong grip then ran to his spot throwing the ball in the air a couple of times.

"Ok, ready?"

"I was born ready!" I say crouching a bit holding onto the tennis racket. Sonic eyes went half way, his smile turning into a smirk as he threw the ball into the air and then wacked it with the tennis rackets going to my side. It bounces to my right as I ran towards it hitting it back to his side. He hit it back to me with a bit more force and speed going towards the left. I ran towards it almost missing the ball as I hit it with much force that I can. Sonic had to catch up with the tennis ball and span himself into a ball and hits it looking like a light green blur coming my way. I ran to my side quick almost missing the ball again but eventually hit it. As it when to his side as I started to walk back to the middle but I tripped over my feet and fell to he ground with a 'thud' my tennis racket scraping to the side of the court. I heard the ball to go my side I used my plant abilities to grab my racket and heard the ball hit the racket. I raised my head to see the ball passed by the blue hedgehog that tried to hit it but wasn't fast enough. He chuckled as he jumped over the net walking towards me.

"You ok?" He says reaching his hand towards me. I smile as I grab his hand still feeling the tingly sensation crawling all over my body.

"Yeah, I'm alright." He pulls me up to my feet then grabs his tennis racket.

"Seems like I've got a challenge." He chuckles spinning his racket in his hand.

"Well, you were hard to beat!"

"Well yeah, because I'm a pro at this!" He still span the racket in his hand. I let the plant that has my racket stretch to me as I took it and let the plant slither away.
