Chapter 11: Building Bonds & Mission?

3rd POV:

Izuku would say he was a good judge of someone's character due to all of the events and situations that he has been involved with during the past year or so but good god Izuku never felt like he was so wrong before when he decided to allow the duo into his life because he was right that day when he confronted them! They were indeed sadist individuals who enjoyed watching others suffer due to the pranks and things that they pull off because they liked watching people squirm in embarrassment which causes them to smile so big when they are sure others aren't looking. Thank all of the gods is what Izuku does every day when he can because he luckily never ended up on the side of their awful pranks that didn't mean he didn't get teased by them though because they sure did enjoy teasing him all of the time.

No, all of the things done to Izuku were always done in privacy where they and he were alone and away from others that could see since the duo didn't want to drive Izuku away by having people laugh at him. No, they wanted him to stay close with them but even then all of the things they did do to Izuku were all childish things like those worms in a can where they pop out once you open the lid or other childish things since they enjoyed teasing Izuku. Everything else tended to take a few levels up because they enjoyed tormenting others with non-harmful pranks that didn't cause any pain and they made sure to target people that they were sure would not be mentally affected by their pranks so anyone that they were sure might be bullied was off the list of being targeted. The duo always was careful since they wanted to have fun and not actually hurt people which Izuku was pleased with.

Though just lightly teasing and pranking people wouldn't give them something to enjoy... no, they tend to hit the same target multiple times in one day to see the frustration that the individual has from getting targeted multiple times in a single day. That is how they got their own personal enjoyment from tormenting people with their unharmful pranks. Though when it came to the things that they did to Izuku he was pretty sure that they only did things that would likely result in Izuku laughing himself and not for their own enjoyment of seeing it as he was sure that they were trying to get him to break out of his mask with the pranks that they were pulling but he wasn't going to break so easily even though he did find quite a few of them funny but he has trained hard in maintaining his mask so he was good at not breaking out of it due to sudden surprises.

Anyway, as we pointed out for Izuku, it has now been over an entire year since Izuku was sold into his current lifestyle which was a depressing thought. This meant of course that Izuku had turned ten years old now which makes him now in the 5th grade and an additional bonus of moving up a grade was the fact that the duo somehow got it arranged for them all three to be in the same classes now which Izuku refuses to admit to anyone that he actually enjoys. Though entering the 5th grade did also remind Izuku that he only had this year and next before he would enter middle school which would only be a short leap to high school and that thought ate away at the back of his mind due to the fact that he was only getting closer to high school which would likely be his prime chance... suddenly that line of thoughts in Izuku's mind came to an end before they could finish forming as it was thrown away as he doubted he would even be alive that long to began with since he was realistic about his situation. 

Back to the present though as Izuku looked down to his sides as both of his friends Ozy and Zahra were laying down right next to him and leaned against him as they sat at the tree in the park that they had their first official run-in with each other. They would always come to the park every few days after school when Izuku could get the time, scheduled to do so because he knew not to raise too much attention to the fact that he was really close to someone since he didn't want them to be known by anyone at the compound yet. Anyway, Izuku wouldn't admit it in front of either of them but he was starting to trust them far more than he lets on to them but he still didn't trust them fully yet in some roundabout way due to his life situation. For example, Izuku knew that children around their age normally would have gone to each other's houses but that was never going to happen in regards to Izuku's living situation since taking them to the compound would be a horrible decision for everyone involved. Now going to their house wasn't completely out of the picture but Izuku didn't want to go do that yet as it was a bit risky and he didn't mean in regards to his association with the mafia family...
