As the quite tune of the radio lingers through my ears I think about how terrible my last day of high school was. Firstly I trip over and fall into a muddy puddle, since its been raining for quite a few days. Then someone got gum stuck in my wavy chocolate brown hair. And my sister, Adelaida was 1 hour late to pick me up from school. I know what your thinking, you don't have your licenses yet? well I do I just don't have a car... funny enough.

My final exam was also today. We get the results mailed to us, though I wont be able to see them first thing because they mail it my mothers home, instead of my father. Speaking of my father I'm moving back to Holmes Chapel for university in a week.

"How was your last day?" I was interrupted by my own thoughts

"It wasn't what I was expecting" I grumble
"what do you mean? my last day was fantastic!"Adie says happily

"yes but aide that was 3 years ago. And what I mean is it was terrible. They say your last day of school is meant a dream, well my was the complete opposite" I state.

"what?! what happened?" Adie asked

"well for starters. I fell into a muddy puddle"
the car swerves due to the wet weather.
"then some douche gets gum stuck in my hair. And then you pick me 1 hour late. I was sitting in the rain for 60 freaking minutes"

"well sorry it wasn't my fault. The traffic was horrendous" Adie explains

sighing I say "its okay. I mean we can't change the past"

"that's correct, so move on we shall" Adie says enthusiastically.

As we arrive home and drive up the drive way I get a text message from my best friend Evelyn.

Eve: wasup bruh, i wuz just wondering if ya wonna chill tomorrow? also look at this *picture of channing tatum* hOLY FUDGE BALLZ

i text back

Me: omFG WUT?? HOW CAN 1 HUMAN BEING BE SO HOT?! surely he hhas got plasric surgurt of something. haha and yeah sure when and where??

Eve: IKR! and 10am my place. geet adie to frop you ofp

drop*off*

Me: haaahhaaa i know your laughing at the fact i still dont have a car

Eve: mayyyyybe. but i gtg have a shower cozs i swear my family just died coz i smell like dog shit. byeee x

Me: haha probably, i mean it is you and byee x

Eve: HA.HA dumb bish ;) bye hoe

I chuckle to myself. I have no clue why Eve and I are friends.
As I enter my room I chuck my phone on my night stand and collapse on my bed. I sigh to myself and try to picture what life would be like at university. suddenly an image of me with grey hair and wrinkles, stressing out about some test that I know I'll get and A on. A shiver runs down my back and I shake my head from the nasty thought. That's the only thing I'm afraid of, becoming ugly and not doing well in university. I mean what a waste of time it would be if I didn't get to be a journalist. What a waste of god damn money and time.

I plug my phone into the charger and play my favorite song by Bring Me The Horizon- Drown.

*the day I go to Holmes Chapel*

"flight 346 Quantis is now boarding I repeat flight 346 is now boarding" the speaker says as I rush to the gate. The woman checks and scans my ticket as I jog onto the boarding ramp and enter the plane doors. I'm seated on seat N2. Once I fine my seat I see I am placed next a young boy with blonde straight hair blown up into a quiff with almost neon blue eyes. I have to admit he was attractive. I sit next to him and give him a grin.

"hi, I'm Niall" he speaks

"Hazel"

"What brings you on this flight? family I assume?"

"family is correct, my dad infact. He moved to Holmes Chapel when I was 4 years of age. What about you?"

"oh I'm so sorry to hear that. And I'm being transported through the business that I work in to another location"

"oh right and it's okay I went to see him during the holidays all the time, it's not like I don't the man. What's your company called?"

"oh no its not my company, but I work for it"

"oh right, sorry i didn't catch the name of it..."

"that's because I didn't tell you it, nor will I. It's private. Sorry"

"oh" is all I say and I turn back to face the front. This guy was a bit suspicious but I ignored it. It's not like I'm ever gonnna see him again. I plug in my headphones to my phone and turn airplane mode on. I click the playlist names 'favs' and let the music flood through my head while the planes take off.

And a as soon as I know it, I'm asleep.

I hop into the taxi with a very pale woman holding up a sign that said 'Brinks'. As she drives to the address I gave her I think about what my father is up to.

I arrive at a huge mansion looking white house with green plants of all sorts surrounding it and a brick path leading to the front door. I walk up the path just after I had payed the driver my bill and knock on the two brown doors. One with a 'door knock' hanging off it, shaped as a lions head. A few seconds later a woman wearing a white, spotless apron opened the door.

"oh hello, you must be Hazel"

"correct, may I come in" I ask politely

"of coarse"

The amount of times I have been here my whole life, I swear it always has something different to it. As the maid addresses me to my room and takes my bags I walk up the stairs onto the second floor. Across the hall is an office. i walk up to the office and knock.

"come in" some one mumbles

I open the door to the sight of my father with his head lowered down facing he desk reading what looks like a document.

"hi" I say

my father shoots his head up from the desk and huge grin plastered on his face.

"darling! how great it is to see you!"

he embraces me into a tight hug, I hug back

"as it is you. How have you been father?"

"quite all right. And what about you?"

"alright"

He lets go and looks down at me

"what does 'alright' mean? is something wrong?"

"no, well yeah, I mean ugh. I'm just nervous about uni, that's all" I state

"oh, don't worry darling, with a gift like yours uni should be a piece of cake"

"I guess" I agree

"anyway I have to get back to business. I'll be down for dinner soon"

"okay" is all I say and I walk out. I walk back down the stairs back to the first floor. That is when I spotted him. As he walked through the door his grin never phased and his brown curly locks flustered around. Green piercing eyes and two dimples plucked on his to his flushed cheeks.

He was hot.
