Hades, the ruler of the underworld and all things death. Some may call him the "bad god".  Some see him as a tainted rock often overlooked because he's used for bad things or does bad things  Leio might just be him..

People who use women as objects, things for their own gain deserve not an ounce of my respect. My father loves my mother. He treats her right. He gave her a choice.  You would think he respects a woman, yet he used his own daughter as payment. King Sarrin asked for a wife around the age of twenty three, and my father volunteered me at the council meeting. There were four other perfect girls. My father's excuse was "I have two daughters, you may use the older one" and they did, otherwise I wouldn't be in this room.

His grace's study was filled with books along the left side of the room, from the floor to the top of the ceiling. The hardwood floor was creaky, it was old. The right side of the room contained paintings of past Kings I assumed. The smell of the room wasn't welcoming, it smelt like old air the type you would find in a dark, eerie cave.

Straight ahead laid a desk which was occupied by a priest, with goblets, candles to light the room, and a bible. In front of him was a tall, muscular back, light fluffy blonde hair. King Sarrin. I walked away from Rue and towards the desk. This was my fate now. I thought in my head.

"Shall we start?" The priest asked, he looked at Sarrin and then to me. I nodded. "Please pull your left hands forward." He poured wine into the goblets. I put my left hand out, so did Sarrin.

"This might pinch a bit." He took my left hand in his. He extend my third finger more than the others, and poked it with the needle. I winced but didn't make a noise.

"Drop one drop in your own goblet, and one in your betrothed." I did just that. The drop of blood mixed in with what I presumed was wine instantly. He took King Sarrins hand next, and made him to the same.

"Now drink the wine." I raised my hand for the goblet. My fingers wrapped around the rather chilled glass, as I brought it to my lips I could help but wonder how this castle, these riches, the power. Was all mine

The wine left a bitter after taste, maybe it was the blood or maybe it's just the way wine tasted, I wouldn't know. King Sarrin did the same, the ball in his neck bounced, and his jaw clenched. Did he like the idea of marriage? He wasn't much older then I. Maybe a year or two, but did he like the thought of a wife? An equal? I don't think he did or does.

The last part was putting the rings on our fourth fingers of our left hands, to symbolize our "promise". The priest packed his things and left quickly. It was understandable, it was very late the sun would be rising soon.

I had no idea where I was supposed to go. Was I supposed to follow his grace around like a dog? Or go about the estate myself? I waited for my orders.

He was leaving out the door of his office, so I followed. We were stopped in the grand staircase by a man? He was taller then Sarrin, He had jet black hair and deep honey filled eyes. His features were sharp, sharp jawline, sharp eyes that could cut you with a mere glance.

"I feel very offended, you not only didn't invite your only brother to your wedding-"he paused and rolled his eyes up and down my body, meeting my eyes."- but you also married a girl, whos skin is darker then the colour of mud pigs roll in." King Leio

"At least I am welcome here with open arms, can't speak the same for you." I really should think before I open my stupid mouth. I mean it's not secret they are fighting and he had just insulted the queen of Kyotus.

To my surprise he laughed, "you picked a feisty one brother." He grinned at me.

"Why are you here Leio?" Sarrin sounded exhausted, and he should be.

"Why can't I be here?  He tilted his head in question.

"There's a reason, you only do things with motive" Sarrin was getting angry.

"What I can't be here for my baby brother?" This time Leio pouted.

" I just- its late Leio, sleep in the guest quarters and we can deal in the morning?" Sarrin negotiated with his "older brother" who was acting out like a child.

"Why can't I sleep in my old room?" Leio smirked, he was getting a kick from annoying his brother.

"Sleep wherever you want I don't care, Rue show my wife her sleep quarters for tonight. His wife. It just hit me, I'm married now.

Sarrin walked off, to his room. Rue showed me to mine. None of my things were here, I didn't have a change of clothes. To be honest it was too late and I was too scared to ask for a change of clothes. So I went to bed in the same tired clothes, thinking about what happens tomorrow with both brothers.
