The bus slowly stopping to a halt you arrive at your destination. Walking to the front with your bags on your back you nodded in thanks to the bus driver. Stepping out onto the crisp snow you shivered at the sudden chill. The bus stop sat nestled at the base of a mountain, in which you had to climb to get to the nearest village.

"Well there's no stopping me now!" You said optimistic but not exactly looking forward to the hike. Your boots crunched the compacted snow as you trekked up the mountain path. Your bags crinkling and shuffling around with each step. You had came here for inspiration for your newest book, little did you know you'd have to hike all that way. Oh well you simply thought to yourself. The crisp air nipped at your nose and finger tips as the cold air blew past your face. The sound that filled the air wasn't a welcoming song of birds but the cackles of crows. They seemed to watch every little move you made. Examining you. However you didn't mind the attention, they were simply curious.

Midway amongst your home you stopped to take a closer look at the castle. It called to you, your muse would be in that castle you just knew it. Turning back you continued on the path, sunlight now grew sparse beneath the trees covering your way. You made your way with confidence. You came here to find a muse and you weren't backing down now.

"My degree in literature arts didn't get me here for nothing." You muttered. Rubbing your hands together your watched as your breath formed a light fog around you. The chilling scenery now settled into the crevices of your mind. You were alone, alone in a foreign country with no civilization with in a two hour reach. This was great, just great.
