LJ's POV

It's Tuesday morning around 9:45. I was getting the house ready for Baby and Me class. Me and Connor go to this baby and me class every Tuesday morning, and this week it is our turn to hold it. I have been up since 6:30am. I have had a shower, got dressed, got Connor up and dressed (despite his disapproval) and made the two of us breakfast. Quite a busy morning so far.

Connor is sat on the floor playing blocks with one of the other kids. I am sat on the sofa talking to one of the parents. His name is Adam. we are sat here talking about his wedding to his partner and one of my best friends, Lucas. "so have you decided on a date yet?" I asked, wondering as they had gotten engaged nearly a year ago and said they wanted to get married sooner rather than later. They have a daughter, her name is Alexie. They adopted her from Haiti. "no, not yet. Lucas keeps on saying no to all of my suggestion, so I have just given up and let he do his own thing." he replies with a smile on his face. "he's always been like that. it's so annoying." I say with a bit of a laugh, remembering the many years we have been friends.

Everyone is leaving Baby and me. I say goodbye to everyone. Well, almost everyone. one dad stayed behind. I'm not sure why so I decided to ask him. Standing in my kitchen, I ask the man in front of me, "excuse me, but what are you doing here? Everyone left." within a few seconds, he had walked over to me so that he is standing right in front of me. I tried to move away, but he grabbed my arm tightly. I couldn't move. "you're hot." he blurted. I didn't know what to respond with, so I said nothing. He must have taken it as a green light because the next thing I know is he leans in and kisses me. I try and pull away, but he wouldn't move. He, within a few seconds, pulls out and looks smugly over my shoulder. I decided to turn my head around but instantly regretted it because standing there was my husband. He appeared so angry. The guy who had just kissed me, I didn't get his name, walked past him before leaving the house. But he didn't go until he said this to my husband "come on mate, have you seen her arse? You can't blame me." those were the last words he said before leaving the house. leaving me to stare at him with tears in my eyes. "Peter, please listen to me. I can explain." I try to plead to him. he didn't want to listen., "I'm going out" were the only words he said to me.

It's around 5pm now. I am sat at the dinner table with Connor trying to get him to eat some mushed up carrots and peas. He wasn't having any of it, and every time I attempted to get him to eat more, he would throw it on the floor. I just gave up and continued to eat my dinner. Peter hasn't come home yet; I'm starting to get a little worried. Well, that is until I hear the front door open and then close and see him walking into the kitchen, grabbing a plate of food and coming to sit down at the dinner table with Connor and me. We sat in silence. There was some occasional noise when Connor decided he didn't want to sit in his high chair anymore.

After dinner was finished, I took Connor upstairs, gave him a bath, playing with the bubbles in the tub with him and then put him to bed.

"night, night bug", I whispered to my son, giving him a kiss on the forehead ", mummy and daddy love you lots.". I quietly walk out of his room, turn on his little night light and very slowly close the bedroom door, trying to make the least amount of noise possible. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to find all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I decided to grab a beer from the fridge and walk into the lounge. Peter was watching re-runs of 'how I met your mother' i sat next to him and took a gulp of my beer.
