Titans: Saving the Day & Chill

"Woo!" cheered Donna, throwing back another tequila shot.

"I thought alcohol didn't affect her," said Dick.

"It doesn't," smiled Kara, "She and I took some S.T.A.R. Labs meta booze before heading out. She's just doing this part for the experience."

The Titans had just busted a major armed robbery outfit hitting up banks in cities all across the country. After successfully capturing them at the Jump City National Bank, the Titans had decided to reward themselves with a night of bar crawling in their civilian identities.

Donna, Dick, Kara, and Roy were currently seated alongside one another at a sports bar not far from Titans Tower. Dick had worn a blue button down tucked into his black skinny jeans and sharp dress shoes. Roy wore a red button down over blue jeans and matching sneakers. Donna wore high waisted capris jeans with brown high heeled sandals, a sleeveless red blouse, and golden hoop earrings. In addition to her usual thick black glasses, Kara wore a white sweater and a high waisted black skirt over black tights and black ankle boots. Wally wasn't there at the moment. He had been in and out over the course of the night, simultaneously spending time with his friends in Central City by running back and forth with his powers.

Done with her shot, Donna excused herself from the bar to go to the bathroom. On the way, she caught herself on Roy's shoulder and smiled at him. Roy chuckled nervously. She gave him a big hug before running off to the bathroom. Dick and Kara both snickered when they saw that Roy's face was bright red.

"What!?" feigned Roy, turning away and anxiously drinking water.

"Just ask her out!" blurted out Kara, "This is ridiculous!"

"It's not that bad," chuckled Dick.

"You just haven't been paying attention," retorted Kara.

"...you don't think it'd be weird?" asked Roy nervously, "Dating a team member?"

Dick narrowed his eyes at Roy.

"Right," realized Roy, remembering that Dick was dating Batgirl, "I guess you wouldn't."

"Oh, speaking of which!" exclaimed Kara, "Dick, you should invite Barbara! You could have a double date!"

Roy considered it. That would be less awkward. With the help of Wally's speed, inviting Barbara to a date on the opposite end of the country was indeed a possibility. Roy took a deep breath and another drink of water.

"I've been meaning to show her the boardwalk," suggested Dick.

"Oh, that's perfect!" gasped Kara, "Donna hasn't been to the boardwalk yet! She'll love it! Text Barbara! Ask her right now!"

"Wait," interjected Roy, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We don't even know that Donna wants to go on a date with me."

"Aw!" beamed Donna from behind Roy, "Roy! I'd love to!"

Roy went right back to being red again. He slowly turned around to smile uneasily at Donna.

"Really?" he croaked, "That's great!"

Donna smiled back at Roy. He chuckled uncomfortably.

"Babs says yes," said Dick casually, checking his phone.

"Great!" exclaimed Kara, "Donna, what do you think of Dick and Barbara going along too?"

"Haha, a double date!" declared Donna, "Yes, please do come along!"

"This really is perfect!" added Wally, "I was just looking for a place to take Linda. The boardwalk sounds perfect."

Everyone paused for a moment before turning to Wally. He stood at the end of the bar beside Donna, casually leaning against the counter with a drink in his hand. He smiled as he took a sip. Roy sighed. Donna giggled. Dick signalled for the tab.
