You continue shopping around the area. And you grab a little snack, regaining energy. You finish your sweet bread roll then continue your shopping spree.
Jungwoo was into something when he said he wanted to get things off your mind. Shopping was distracting you from your thoughts.
You were focused on what you liked and didn't like.
You were walking around the shopping center looking for more things to buy. You come across a music store. You found it interesting and decided to go in.
You noticed once you walked in, that it was a record store. You had no interest in records so turn to leave. Something catches your eye though. You walk over to the counter with a display of many record players. You walk over to the pink one.
You eye it, you admit you are too scared to touch it, not wanting to break it. Someone walks over to you. They ask you if you need any assistance.
"Um, yeah. I don't know anything about these, but this one is striking my eye and I think I'm interested. Could you tell me about these?"
They go on explaining to you how these work. They tell you about the records and how well the audio and speaker works on certain record players.
"There is only one left of the pink one, and there are a few of the mint ones. But these here are very popular and we are always stocked on these." The worker points at the record players, only trying to convince you more.
"I'd like the pink one please." You only wanted that. You weren't gonna use it, but it was just too cute.
"You got it, just tell me your name so I can put it in behind the counter so when you're ready to check out, just let the cashier that you purchased one and tell him your name." You tell her your name.
She walks away, you look back at the record player and turn around to go straight to the cashier. Like you said, you just wanted it cause it was pretty. You don't know how these things work.
"Y/n?"
You turn around, "Jaehyun?"
"Hey, where Jungwoo? I thought you went out with him and Mark."
"We were hanging out but they had to go to the studio because they had to finish recording their part of the song."
"Ah. Yeah they ditched that day. Along with Haechan. You like records?"
You shake your head. Jaehyun laughs, "then why are you here?"
"Oh, I didn't know this was a record store so I came here interested but then noticed the records then became uninterested. But I did see a record player I liked. But I was just about to leave."
"Why are you not interested in records?"
"Because I know nothing about them."
"Well, I can help with that."
"No, I'm okay. I got what I wanted and i was gonna leave. No need to bother your peaceful shopping."
"Why would you be bothering me? Come on, let me help you. What did you get?"
"I got a record player."
"Well, what records are you getting?"
"None, I don't need any."
