I kicked the door open, and I peeked inside.
Delilah was tucked against the wall, staring at me with fear in her wide eyes.
I nervously looked around, wondering what I was going to say.
"Uh...just follow me, please?"
She got up nervously, clearly wary of her supposed savior. "Who are you?"
"I don't know how to answer that question."
Delilah crept toward me slowly, looking at me carefully. "J-Jacob? Is that you?"
Was I going to lie, or was I going to tell her the truth?
"Alright, you got me. But we need to get out of here. Where are your parents?"
Delilah scratched her head.a I muttered a curse under my breath, and I turned back to her.
"Then let's stage a breakout, shall we?"
.......
I broke into the security room, and I leaped toward the chair, trapping the security guard in a chokehold.
He went slack, and I took the chance to slap a pair of handcuffs he had on him, throwing the key to the far side of the room in the process.
I looked over the control board, and I found a microphone.
"Alright, alright. Hello inmates. This is Jacket Knight, but I'm here for three people. Would Leia and Jacob Hanaski proceed to the entrance? Me and your daughter will be waiting for you there."
Delilah took the microphone herself, and she spoke, "I'm here, so just meet us at the front...hopefully Jacket's plan will work."
She turned to me.
I slapped the large red button marked "Release"
All of the cells had opened up...
And all hell broke loose.
.......
Guards were holding back the tide of inmates, and I was watching the door while Delilah was checking the cameras for her parents.
"Alright, found them! We need to go to Sector H."
"Good, let's go!"
We raced out into the hallway, and I took care of any guards in our way.
Arriving in Sector H, we found Jacob and Leia ducked behind some barricades while inmates were struggling against the riots shields of the guards.
"Hey, need a way?"
I had remembered the way from whence I came, and when we arrived, everyone, understandably, didn't want to resort to this.
"It's the best way, okay?"
