The Letter

A few months later...

After her crazy trip to New York Cosette had made up her mind, she wanted to live in New York someday. The only problem was convincing her father, he was very protective of her and she was sure that he wouldn't allow her to move away. Too afraid to ask him to his face, Cosette waited for the perfect opportunity. That opportunity came a week ago when her father went on a month long business trip. She had sent a letter asking for permission and was nervously waiting for a reply. "Cosette," Eponine yelled, she must've just gotten home from her job"a letter from your dad!"

"Thanks Ep!" Cosette responded.
When she got to where Eponine was Eponine handed her the letter.
"Thanks Ponine! Want to read it with me?"
"Sure why not"
With shaking hands she opened the letter:
My Dearest Cosette,
I know how much you love New York City, and I was thinking about it. It was a hard decision to make but you have permission to move to New York with all your friends. I love you so much, your mother would be proud of me for doing the right thing. Just remember I love you.

"Eeeeeeee!" Cosette and Eponine shrieked.
"I'm allowed to live in New York City!"
"This HAS to be the best birthday ever," Eponine replied equally excited.
"I can't wait to tell the gang."
