"Ugh..." My head seemed to be lighter, while it was still pounding. I took a breath in as I slowly moved to open my eyes. Preparing for the sharp light that I could see little shards of through my eyelids.

"Shuichi?" I heard a voice call out to me as my eyes opened. The world was all blurry as my eyes squinted because of the light piercing my focused gaze. "It's...so bright."

"Shuichi!" The first person I saw when my eyes opened was Kaede. Her blond hair and her smile made me feel a little better about things...wait a moment. "Kaede?!" I gasped, feeling my voice was all weak and shaky.

"Yes Shuichi, it's me." She laughed a bit as the others soon came into my view.

Kaede, Rantaro, Kaito, Kirumi, Gonta, Keebo, Tenko, Angie, Korekiyo, Mui, Ryoma, and...Kokichi.

The killing game is over, but does that mean that...all of them would be back just like that? I saw all of them get murdered or executed...so why would they all be here? Does that mean that I can tell Kokichi what I meant to tell him? Give him the apology he definitely deserves after what I said to him at the end of the fourth trial...god I don't know if he even remembers that.

"Guys...how are you all alive?" I asked, feeling tears start to come out of my eyes.

"Well the whole game was a test for a new full dive gaming software they were testing out...but it ended up not being the best for any of us so it's still in testing." Ryoma sighed, moving over to lean back in one of the chairs around the hospital bed I was staying in.

"Yeah, it's good that it ended up being fake...I hated the idea of people dying in such graphic ways.." Rantaro said softly, moving over to my side.

"Me as well...I'm glad I can see you all again!" I smiled while the others moved in to give me a group hug. "Welcome back Shuichi," Kirumi said while the others said their goodbyes because they were all heading to the cafeteria.

"Thank you Kirumi," I said, noticing another person stayed behind. "Oh? Kokichi? What are you doing here?" I asked, moving to walk over to where he was standing, but before I could do that he moved into the room with a smile and a laugh.

"Nishishi~ Hello Shumai! Did ya miss me?" He said with a smirk making me blush a bit. "Ah, Kokichi...I wanted to apologize for the words I ended up saying to you in the game...that was rude of me and if I could take them back I would..." I bowed my head a bit before Kokichi shook his head.
