FIVE MONTHS LATER

'How could you do that? I trusted you.' Y/N was yelling at the man in front of her as tears sippled her eyes.

'You gave me no choice.' The man replied, without even a care that the girl was lashing out on him.

'I did everything! I followed you, and you promised you wouldn't touch them!' You continued to shouting and hurting him, but it seems like it isn't working.

But when he raised his hand, about to hurt you...

I jolt up awake from a nightmare that has been going on for months now.

Breathing in and out, I was sweating nonstop, from head to toe, every part of me aching and I was helpless, I couldn't do anything.

"It's okay, it's just a bad dream, everything will be okay, Y/N." Muttering those words to myself wasn't much of a help.

So, I found myself lurking around the corridors, early in the morning or some would even call it a night. Lights were still off and I was only the one who was awake, and I didn't mind.

Scanning the contents of the fridge, I spotted a box of donuts and a bottle of champagne. Picking them up and immediatey munching it.

A few seconds later, I heard footsteps coming in my way, causing me to stop mid-chew and I didn't move from the table I was sitting on.

"Thor." I stated in a muffled tone while I swallow the donut and he smiled.

"Lady Y/N." He place both of his hands on his waist. "What are you doing here late at night." He asked.

"Thor, it's four in the morning, not night." I deadpanned, bringing the bottle to my lips.

He sits down in front of me, grabbing himself a donut.

"The sun isn't up, so it's still night." He replied, I glared at him.

"It's a.m." I argued back.

"Whatever, punny mortal." He snatched the bottle from my hand and drinks it.

"Don't call me that." I snapped. "Why are you here anyway?" I asked.

"I'm here to visit Jane." He stated.

I stopped mid-chew as I looked at him. "Didn't she broke up with you?" I furrowed my own eyebrows.

He looks at me while he process the things I have said, probably thinking what to say next.

"N-no," He stuttered and I stared at him. "She didn't break up with me, ah, why would she do that?" He laughed more to himself as his face begins to change expression. "Enough about Jane." He declared, making me raise my eyebrows.

"It's my time to ask you. Why are you here?" He asked changing the subject.

I exagerately looked around me and I was surrounded with empty donut boxes.
"I'm eating." I answered.

"Yes, I can see that." He added, and I made an eyeroll.

"It's a coping mechanism." I excused, but it's the truth.

"Drinking?" He shrugged. "I can't really blame you. I did the same for five years, which, uhm, which is not healthy...but-" He cuts himself off, as he looks at me suspiciously. "Is this about Lady Natasha?" He questioned and I groaned.

"Okay, that's it, I'm done." I hop off the table, and walked out of the kitched, tipsily making my way to somewhere else but my legs failed me as I suddenly collapsed on the couch.

I heard him laugh and I glared at him as he cleared his throat uncomfortably.
"You gonna be all right?" He asked and I nodded sheepishly.

"Yeah, just go away. Thanks for the talk." I mumbled enough for him to hear before he was out of my sight. "I miss her." I dragged out the words, groaning loudly before completely passing out.
