I am now getting ready to go to a club in BGC to attend my friend's birthday party. I just picked a black off shoulder top and a white mini skirt and got my Chanel Wallet on Chain bag to hold my phone, wallet and lipstick. I finished my outfit with just my black Gucci heels and my Swarovski Tennis Deluxe Choker and stud earrings to complete the look.

"Saan na naman ang lakad mo, Hazel?" Ate Tina, one of our helpers, asked me when she saw me going down the stairs all dressed up in my party outfit.

"It's my friend's birthday po kasi. I'm going to celebrate with her." I said with a sweet smile,

"Bakit hindi ka na lang sumali kina Mia sa–" She wasn't able to finish what she was about to say because I cut her off.

"No way! Ayoko nga sila makasama. Anyway, I'm going na. Bye!" I said and went out of the house.

My step sister and her friends are having their sleepover here at our mansion. We're not close enough for me to barge in there anyways. I'd rather be with my friends tonight.

I just don't get along well with my step sister and step mother. I'd rather be out of the house than to be with them.

As I was walking my way out of the door, I passed by my Mom's portrait in our living room. How I wish she was the one here with us. Okay naman kami ni Dad long before they arrived in our lives. After my Mom died when I was 4 years old because of cancer, it was only Dad and I that was left.

He busied himself with work to the point that he doesn't have time for me anymore. I was always left alone inside my room. I never felt home in our own house. It's just too big and empty...

After a year, he decided to get married again, para mayroon daw titingin sa akin. He married tita Lyn, a high school classmate of his. Then Mia came into the world and there I was, always competing for my Dad's attention.

.....

"Yeah I'm already outside the club." I said to my friend who has been calling me since the car started running. "Kuya Luis dito na lang po. I'll just text or call you kapag susunduin mo na ako. Just don't turn off your phone ha?" I reminded Kuya Luis, my driver since I was 6 years old.

I wasn't able to have that experience wherein my Dad would pick me up at school, but I am glad that Kuya Luis was hired because he was the best companion I could get! He's so awesome!

"Sige ma'am. Ingat ka po. Tawagan niyo na lang po ako." Kuya Luis replied,

I entered and the party was just starting. The music and lights were blaring and it made me smile. No one's tipsy yet, but I can see everyone holding their drinks na puno pa.

"Finally, you're here! Bottoms up, girl!" Sinalubong ako ni Ava, a schoolmate of mine from Miriam. She handed me a cup and I took a sip from it.

"Where's Celine?" I asked, I wanted to give her my gift already. I might forget pa na ibigay mamaya.
