So Lance is trans and gay but his father did not accept him and was misgendered and abused for a while from his father. His family couldn't do anything or else they would be on the streets so, to escape he went to Galaxy Garrison Academy since his friend Hunk was going too, and he always wanted to be a fighter pilot.
Hunk is the only one that is not his family to know he is trans and he would like it to stay that way. Due to many things happening in his life, Lance was diagnosed with depression after trying to kill himself.
This story will take place around season 2 or 3 and there may be some misinformation due to it being a long time since I watched the show so I need to brush up on my knowledge.
