Aaron was born in Diamond Bar, California. He has 3 eldest sister; Jeni, Jeri and Alexandra. Among all of his sisters; he's closest with Alex as they both shared the same interest in soccer. He started played football at the age of 6 years old where he trained in AYSO which his father is one of the coaches there.

Aaron attended the Diamond Bar High school where he made it to his school team where he became all league pick every season. In his sophomore year, he was called up to USA U17 squad for 2015 CONCACAF U17 Championship.

Once he graduated from high school, he was recruited by LA Galaxy that had keep an eye on him in his senior year of high school. He was offered a full ride scholarship by the club to further his study in UCLA that he can't refused. In July 2017, a month before he enrolled to UCLA, he made his debut in MLS where he enters as a sub to Jack McInerney at 65th minute where he scored 2 goals to help LA Galaxy to end their winless run in 10 matches by defeating Vancouver Whitecaps. On October 2017, he was called up to USA senior team for World Cup Qualifying round. He made a statement as he scored hattrick in his debut match against Panama. In his 2nd and last match in the qualifying round, he managed to score a goal but unfortunately, USA lost the match with 2-1 against Trinidad & Tobago and causing them to fail to qualify to 2018 World Cup in Russia.
