To be honest, Charles was still mad at Erik after all he did to him, now he was in a wheelchair because of that ma . But Charles knew that Erik really needed his help right now, even though he didn't know why, but Erik told him it was about Pietro.
Charles cared about Pietro, he never blamed Pietro for what his father had done, Pietro was just an innocent child who had to deal with difficult situations caused by his own father.
After getting a call from Erik, Charles asked Hank to accompany him to the location Erik told him. About 2-3 hours later, they arrived at the house Erik mentioned.
"Charles, are you sure Pietro is still in this house?" Asked Hank.
"I'm sure," replied Charles.
They walked through the house, then when they got to the living room, they started to hear cries.
"Pietro......" Called Charles.
Hank pushed Charles's wheelchair, they headed for the source of the sound. Hank guessed that the sound of crying came from the basement, Pietro was in the basement.
Hank got down to the basement and left Charles upstairs alone because of course, he couldn't get down in his wheelchair.
"Pietro?" Hank's calling.
He found Pietro crying down there while trying to remove one of his hands that was being held by metal on the floor.
Pietro noticed someone's presence, at first he thought his father had returned, but apparently no, it was not his father, it was someone else.
"Hank?" Pietro saw Hank approaching him.
"Hey.... are you okay?" Asked Hank. It was a stupid question because it was clear that Pietro didn't feel all right.
Pietro shook his head.
"Please take this off," said Pietro asking Hank's help to remove his hand from the iron that was holding one of his hands.
Hank then helped Pietro to let go of his hand, because the iron is strong so he had to change into a beast to make it easier to remove the iron. After that, he returned to his human form.
"Is papa with you?" Pietro asked, all he wanted was his father.
"I'm sorry, but your father is not with us," said Hank. Hank takes Pietro upstairs to join Charles.
"Hello Pietro, are you okay?" Asked Charles, grabbing Pietro's shoulder. Charles could see that the boy's eyes were swollen and red with tears.
