Wooyoung had made a lot of bad choices in his life but so far, this may be the worst one yet. Perhaps he may have been in over his head when he agreed to a suicide mission to save his boyfriend, still, backing out would mean having to live with the regret of leaving San alone and knowing he was suffering. He couldn't do that.

In response to his spontaneous bravery, Wooyoung was gifted with the pure terror that was his partner's most loyal companion. His hair was blown by the nostrils of the hairy beast, its brazen breath alone nearly knocking him over. To say Wooyoung was petrified would be the understatement of the century.

"Good boy Shiber! Good boy!" Hoseok was absolutely enthralled by the creature, flying to its back and scratching its neck, a stark contrast to the tiny human quivering beneath it. Wooyoung didn't see the appeal. Monstrous jaws and frightening stature aside, he was never much of a dog person to begin with.

Hoseok cooed at the way Shiber's tongue fell out when he caressed him behind his ear. "Such a sweetie you are," He gushed much to the bafflement of Wooyoung. "I bet you miss Sannie, don't you? Yeah, I know cutie." The monster whimpered at the mention of his missing owner, nuzzling closer to the demon and looking up at him with droopy eyes. "It's alright baby, you'll get to see him real soon."

Shiber's tail wagged excitedly, his happiness causing him to jump up, nearly toppling Wooyoung in the process. He couldn't help but wonder what Hoseok's plan was. They had moved a decent distance away from The Devil's Tower just to fetch this dog.

Knowing him, Wooyoung wouldn't be surprised if he was brought all this way so Hobi could play with him.

Luckily for him, he wouldn't need to wait much longer for his queries to be answered. "That's right. But guess what, Shiber? You might be too late. Do you know why? Because our little Sannie is being held in the deepest, darkest, scariest part of that building." He pointed to the tower, a grin creeping across his face. Although, Wooyoung could tell there was nothing comical on his mind right now. Not with the way his body threatened to twitch, kept still by Hoseok's sheer will to remain calm. "Our little Sannie is being tortured to death because Uncle Namjoon is in a bad mood. Now, you don't like that much, do you pup?"

The growl coming from him was enough of an answer. "That's right, neither do I. So you'll have to be a good puppy and tear that building to shreds for me." There was not a single drop of hesitation in Shiber's stride. With a great howl, the creature leapt forward, heavy stomps shaking the ground while he sprinted towards the tower.

Wooyoung wasn't given much time to comprehend what was going on. Harshly, his arm was yanked towards Hoseok. The speed of the demon nearly matched Shiber's, intentionally trailing just a few feet behind and refusing to stop for even a second. He hoisted Wooyoung into his arms, holding him protectively and using his wings to shield him from the vast amounts of glass flying from the broken windows as Shiber crashed through the doors.

The human was thrown to the ground, back flying into a wall while Hoseok was able to skid to a clean halt. From what they could see, the guards were already trying to fight the beast off, making the demon grin. "That should keep them busy. Come on."

Lifting the pained teen off the ground, he proceeded to drag him through the halls. Hoseok explained that the only person allowed to create portals in the tower was the Devil himself, so they would need to travel by foot. Luckily enough, he worked in the deeper parts of the building, allowing him to make quick work of the journey since he was familiar with it.

As they travelled, Wooyoung's hand wandered to his back. A single touch sent an excruciating shock throughout his entire body, bringing forth a light curse from him. He could only hope the wounds he got today would heal.
