i sat at the edge of my bed while deanne did my makeup, i tried to refuse but she insisted. when she was done i took a look in the mirror, my cheeks were a soft light pink from the blush, a neutral shade on my lids that made my eyes pop, black mascara that lengthened my lashes, and a rose pink color. I was never one to obsess over my appearance but i actually felt and looked pretty for once. i wore a short, light pink dress with a small bow in the center of the bust that i borrowed from deanne. i threw on my hightops and we walked out the door. Lennys house was only right across the lake so me and deanne decided to walk. while walking i couldn't help but feel nervous, my mind kept racing with unwanted thoughts about Lenny UGH why was i thinking about him like this? " y/n.. y/n.. Y/N"!! deanne yelled. "HUH" ? i said loudly. " were here " deanne said. "you need to pay attention more girl"deanne laughed. we stood in front of lennys house, the place was already piling up with people from school. Their were red solos cups all over the ground, Lamonsoff and Robbie were doing keg stands in the front lawn, and a ton of people were doing flips into the lake. the atmosphere was intense and i was nervous but i couldn't help but feel a little excited.
