Alex and Alexa were on their way home. Alexa noticed the cars and people in front of their house.
"Alex, why are all of these people at our house?" Alexa says.
"No idea, let's go see" Alex says.
Walking up to the house the twins see their Grandpa, John Brandon, as he waves them over.
"Come on, inside kids" John says.
"Alright" Alex says, confused on what is going on.
Inside is two people and body guards. "Hi" Alexa says, from near Alex.
"Hello, children" The Queen says.
"Alexa and Alex, please go to your rooms for now" John says.
"Yes, sir" the twins say at the same time. They both leave.
Turning to the two, "Hello. My name is John" John says.
"Hello, John. My name is Elizabeth and we need to discuss the twins with you" Elizabeth says.
"Okay. What is the problem?" John asks.
"Alexander and Alexandria are a prince and a princess of Maldovia. As I am the Queen and my son, Anthony, is the prince" Elizabeth says.
"What?" John says, in shock.
"We have just discovered them a week ago and need to protect them. Where is the children's mother?" the queen, Elizabeth, says.
"Julia, the twins mother passed away two years ago in a car crash, your Majesty" John says.
"She is gone?" Anthony, looks down sadly.
"Call us by our names, John. We are family" Elizabeth says.
"Thank you. And yes, it was instant kill" John says.
"I'm sorry for your loss. It must have been hard" Elizabeth says.
"Thank you. Yes, it was but we all got through it. We are good now. Why are you here now?" John asks.
"We want to get to know the children" Elizabeth says.
"And to have the children move to Maldovia and you are welcome to come as well John" Anthony says.
"What! But the twins have a life here. They have school and their friends here" John says, shocked.
"We know the children and you have a life here and it will take a bit on time, but we need to make the move to our country sooner rather than later because of the media. We do not want them finding out anytime soon and when they do Maldovia is where they need to be" Elizabeth says.
"I understand. I will talk to the twins about this tomorrow and see what is happening with them" John says.
"But-" Anthony starts but gets interrupted by Elizabeth.
"We understand. We will be back in a few days. If you need us I have our phone numbers written on this paper" Elizabeth says, sliding a paper up. Then giving Anthony a look.
"Thank you" John says.
As Elizabeth and Anthony are leaving, John hears the floor boards creaking, he thought 'Both are over hear. Nothing I can do now' and walks the two royals out.
Meanwhile Upstairs
Alex and Alexa share a look and start to over hear, by the top of the stairs. Careful of not making any noise, they stop. Both listening and getting shocked by what they are hearing. With the mention of their mom, they get sadness creeping up. They both hear about moving to another country, but more shocked that their grandpa did not pick a fight. They almost gasp out loud.
'We are royal! What!' having the same thought then looking at each other.
'We have to move from our home now, but...' thinking before going into shock. Then dashing to their rooms, but just not noticing that they made the floor boards creak as they went. With their Grandpa hearing it.
