"What are we doing here?" Junpei asked while tilting his head. "Well I thought the shop would have something cold for your injury... and all that running made me hungry." You said shamelessly. "Oh ok, thank you... again"he replied. "It's no biggie, now lezzgo inside."
Walking inside the shops bell rang, you were engulfed by the cold air from the shop making you feel more relieved because it was blazing hot outside. "Welcome Ma'am Sir, what can I get for ya'll today?" The server greeted. "Hello there! Two Cookie cat Ice cream sandwiches and a pack of ice please." You told the server.
After paying for the things you ordered, both you and Junpei went outside the shop and got seated on one of the benches.
You took one of the ice cream sandwiches and gave it to Junpei, which got you a small thank you from him.
"Do you mind?" You asked while holding the ice pack with your right hand and pointed at his left cheek which was quite swollen. "No, do what you need."
You scootched closer to him and placed the ice pack on the swollen part of his cheek. 'He' s really pretty... Dammit Y/N you just met him. ' You thought. But you weren't wrong though, being this close to him you noticed some of his features one wouldn't normally see from afar.
Beautiful eyes which shimmered a bit from the light of the sun, lavish soft looking hair, his cheeks showing a tint of pink, and smooth pale skin. You might even say he could be your type.
Realizing how little space left there is from each others faces, you backed away a bit. You feel blood rush up to your cheeks warming them. Looking towards you, you saw Junpei with a flushed face.
"I think you could handle this yourself." You said awkwardly while handing him the ice pack. With a shy nod Junpei took it from you, slightly brushing his fingers against yours.
You opened the ice cream packet which revealed a cat-shaped sandwich with vanilla and strawberry flavored filling. Not wanting the ice cream to melt you bit into the ice cream... Which was a horrible idea. Your whole body froze from the pain. "Ow." You let out a sound of discomfort. "Are you OK?" Junpei asked from beside you. "Oh, yeah I'm fine! My dumbass just bit into cold-ass ice cream... This is embarrassing." You took another bite of the ice cream but this time you used the less sensitive part of your teeth. "Don't be embarrassed everyone goes through that." Junpei said with a reassuring smile and patted your head. 'IS HE REALLY PATTING ME RIGHT NOW? OH MY GOD HE' S SO ADORABLE!!' You thought. "oh, um OK thank you." You replied. "For what?" "The head pat." You smiled. "oh, no problem." he smiled back.
