The mid-day Sun shines through the curtains spattering light across the floor of the dimly lit room. Tahlia Grace, Daughter of Zeus, storms in fuming.
-Tahlia's POV-
The fucking nerve of that boy. I flop down onto my bed reflecting on everything.
The day started normally like every other...
-Flashback-
i awake to a gentle shaking on my arm, "5 more minutes" I groan tightening my embrace on my girlfriend, who was not having any of it. "Come on pinecone head we gotta go" She says, Failing miserably to escape my grasp. I beg for a few more minutes but ultimately get up and get dressed.
I look over at Hailey who was brushing her hair, "you need a hand with that?" I say walking over and taking the brush. "idiot" she says her cheeks tinted a slight pink, "ah yes," i say wrapping my arms around the smaller girls waist, "but i'm your idiot." She smiles tilting her head to look at me, £ im okay with that" she says kissing my cheek and walking to the door.
-Time skip-
We arrive at the training grounds to watch Aspen and Ro train. Hailey sits down by Nico and they start talking instantly as usual. I sit down by her trying not to glare at him. I realize it's really pettyto be so jealous of her best friend but God nico pisses me off. I hate how he's so touchy with Hailey and she just let's it happen, I should be the only one allowed to touch her...
But nico is special to her so I hold back. And the worst part is that she still loves the fucking rat. That's why she argues with Percy so often. It's just not fair. Is it so wrong that I want to be the only one she looks at like that.
The day drones on as it always does.
"I'm tireddd" Nico says Laying his head on Hailey's lap as she laughs at him. I was so angry at him I didn't even notice the small sparks of lightning coming out of my finger tips.
"Whats up with you spark plug?" Nico says laughing at his own joke. Hailey turns around to look at me "ba-" she starts to talk but I Stand up storming out blowing all of the lights on my way.
-Hailey's POV-
"TAHLIA?!?" I yell trying to get my distressed girlfriends attention. Annoyed I kick in the door and shut it behind me. I turn around to see Tahlia sitting in the corner of the bed curled up in a ball. "Baby..." I sit on the edge of the bed looking at her. "T what happened back there?" I begin to say before I'm interrupted, "why do you have to look at him like that?..."
"Like what?"
"Like he completes you.."
"Baby hes just a fri-"
"IS IT SO WRONG THAT I WANT TO BE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MAKE YOU SMILE LIKE THAT"
I jump startled at her sudden agression, I get closer to her and realize she's crying.
" my whole life I've always had to share everything."
She grabs my wrist pulling me closer to her.
" for once i just want something to be mine.." She looks at me her angel blue eyes tear filled, now holding my faceso I can't look away.
I lean up and kiss her softly feeling tears form in my own eyes. "Thsts what all of this is about?" I ask earning a slight nod, "Tahlia I love you and for you to be convinced your not the only person I want is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. Yes I love nico. He's my best friend nothing more." She lays her head on my shoulder defeated, I rub the back of her head, smile and whisper, "I'm all yours pinecone head.."
