Coffee Dates.. (Cocomi x Reader)

First Meeting 🧸

Y/n POV:
I woke up automatically and checked the time on my alarm clock, sensing something was off.. 9:32 AM. "Oh SHIT I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL" I verbally exclaimed, wondering why my mom hadn't woken me up- but then remembering she was on a business trip. Though I like having the house to myself, sometimes it does get lonely without her.

"No time for thinking though, Y/n!! I GOTTA GET TO SCHOOL."

Throwing on some of the clean-ish clothes on my desk chair, not bothering to check if I was in dress code, I grabbed my bag & phone and sprinted out the door, hopping on my skateboard, not paying attention to anything but getting to school as fast as possible.

"Ah!" Exclaimed a girl as I wooshed past her. I looked back, "Sorry!" I felt bad though, cuz I accidentally bumped her and her coffee spilt on her dress. She looked at me, annoyed.

I stopped quickly, turning back to her hurriedly. "I am so sorry omigosh- how can I repay you for the mess I made??" I asked.

"Well, this dress was sorta expensive..." She explained.

"Aw, shit." I thought, I don't have a lot of money right now...

"Could I buy you coffee to repay you this afternoon?" I shyly asked, "I don't have the kind of money to buy another one of those dresses right now..."

"Uh, sure." She responded.

"Great! We should exchange numbers so I can text you after school!"

"Okay, hand me your phone."

I handed her my phone and she handed me hers. I wrote my name in and out my number as well, then she handed me back my phone and I looked for her name.

"Huh. Cocomi? I like that name!" I told her, getting onto my skateboard to hurry to school. "Bye Cocomi!"

She just looked back at me with a funny expression on her face, almost like she was contemplating what just happened.

Cocomi POV:

"Damn, that person was kinda attractive... I hope they don't take me to like, Starbucks for coffee or something, hope they aren't basic..."

Looking down at my dress, I sighed.

"Time to back to the store and buy a new one I guess..."
