it's a sunny day at gru minion hs. the birds are singin. the bees are buzzin. but NOT for hannah and mel, seeing as they're both minion and human hybrids, they're outcasts at the hs. they do not know each other... not yet, at least...
their mutual friend ella, the oolest and mostpopular minion at school, was determined to set them up. "hey, hannah!" ella says.
"hey..." Hannah tucks a strand of wiry purple hair behind her ear. her mom was an evil minion... and her father was the one and only gru, the namesake of their school. it was a HARD life for hannah. nobody wanted to be friends with her because of her freakish looks... nobody except for ella, of course. ellas popularity did not make them any less kind.
"wanna get lunch together? i brought bananas!" Hannah;s face lit up... but she turned away before ella could see.
"yeah, okay, I GUESS..." she groaned and rose from her seat. minion rock blasted in her ears! groovy. ella pulled out a banana and tossed it to hannah.
"enjoy! i hate bananas tho..." ella grabbed a bottle of hogwash. yum/
"freak." ella turned to face their adoring fan, dave. watching from inside the school about 7 ft away.
"yeah, right, haha.... so I've got this friend I think u should meet..." ella said with a sly grin on their face.
"I dont need friends. they disappoint me", Hannah replied. she had been going to gru minion high for three years without friends. didnt want them then, didnt want them now.
"no, I really think you guys could click! their name is mel, and they're a minion/human hybrid just like you." hannnah sighed.
"if it makes you happy," Hannah muttered. ella smiled.
"great!"
