The clock strikes 10:00 p.m. as I'm walking by the Thames river, wandering around London. The streets are decorated with colourful lights and joyous Christmas decorations, nevertheless, there're no people to be found. Everyone is celebrating Christmas eve in their families' homes or churches tonight.

And here I'm celebrating the eve alone, again. I don't have anyone to celebrate it with. However, this doesn't bother me anymore as I've gotten used to it. I've gotten used to being alone in general. Every year on this day I gift myself a new coat to wear during the winter, since I don't have anyone to surprise me with Christmas gifts either. I've always been so into clothes, I spend most of my salary either in Zara or Everlane. I'm in love with my new black lather coat with the matching belt I'm wearing, and my short blonde hair is tied in a high ponytail.

I've been walking for about 13 minutes lost in my own thoughts. And as I'm approaching London Bridge, I can spot someone standing on it's edge.

It's a guy, he's standing on the edge as if he's thinking about jumping off. He's tall and blonde. I can't see his face that clearly yet but I can hear him crying and sobbing. Why would someone be standing on the edge of a bridge on Christmas eve rather than celebrating with his family? I feel nervous and a bit curious so I'm walking closer to him.

As I approach him I can see his face more clearly now. He's so good looking. He seems drunk and in pain.

"Excuse me, are you alright? Do you need any help?" I cry out loud to make sure he hears me. He looks over at me with his ocean blue eyes that turned bloody red cause of all the tears he shed.

He didn't reply me when I asked him so I asked the same question again, and he didn't response this time either. He looks away from me and looks at the river instead, he's stopped crying by now. He stares at the freezing water for about a minute and I remain quiet. Then he closes his eyes, now I'm certain he's about to jump off.

"HEY!! STOP!" I scream as I run towards him to pull him down. I'm trying to pull him but it's useless, he's too heavy. At least I manage to stop him.

"STOP!!" he opens his eyes and speaks in a deep broken voice without looking at me. He has such a low voice.

"PLEASE COME DOWN! I don't know what might be going on with your life but whatever it is, its not the end of the world!" I deeply believe in this life mantra. I've been through hell and high water in the 21 years I've lived on earth, and they taught me that nothing lasts forever.

"JUST GO AWAY!!" he shouts at me.

"NO!! Please come down! Don't worry everything is gonna be alright, I promise!" he remains silent.

"I'm certain that you don't really want to jump off this edge otherwise you won't be hesitating! Come on you can't end your whole damn life cause of one silly problem or even a couple, nothing is worth it! And I'm ready to help you!" I say with a shaky voice begging him to come down.

"I wish it was silly." he breaks down as he speaks.

I pull him down the edge by his coat with all my might, And I succeed.
