Razor nervously waited, by the cathedral clinic for some sort of insight on Bennett's condition. There could be so many possibilities as to what Barbara could say about him. He could be fine, he could be in a coma, or worse...dead. Dead. That dreadful word. He didn't want to think about that word. Because it's a word filled with upmost despair. A terrible word to describe someone who was once filled with life, motionless and still, like a doll. The old lupical he once had, was dead. Dead because of the abyss. Bennett, the first friend, or more, that he ever made, could also be dead due to the abyss. He didn't want to think about it. As soon as razor kept on thinking, Barbara then walked out, with a relieved look on her face. "How is he?" Razor asked. "I managed to heal his wounds up well, he should be fine as long as he gets lots of rest and doesn't open them up again," Barbara said in a quiet voice. "Bennett is sleeping right now, so be gentle with him." She opened the door, to reveal Bennett sleeping on the bed, with the blanket covering him up to his neck. He looked a lot better, and his breathing was more even now. Before razor could walk in, Barbara had a suggestion. "If you want, you can rest with him in the bed, since you're still sick." Razor then said he didn't feel sick, only to cough and have Barbara feel his forehead, to reveal that it was burning. "Oh razor, why didn't you go rest in the bed I assigned to you?" Barbara said sadly. "I wanted to know if Bennett fine. Couldn't rest," Razor spoke. It was true. Razor had prioritized Bennett's health over his ever since they became close. "Well," Barbara sighed. "Since you've been waiting for so long, you might as well rest with him now." Razor closed the door that was behind both him and his beloved, as he walked closer to the bed, and got under the blanket. The bed felt comfy, and was more comfier, seeing the face next to him. Bennett. Razor thought Bennett looked very cute sleeping. Quietly, razor hugged the sleeping boy, who was breathing softly next to Razor's hair. Razor, then decided to kiss Bennett on the nose. "Feel better. Soon," razor whispered. He thought that kiss would be a sort of good luck charm. He then decided to cuddle with him a bit more under the blanket.
