Megatrons Mate

Chapter 2

It was 3am but I couldn't wait another 3 hours to take my morning walk, I needed fresh air. I walked down the sidewalk 6 miles from the base and into the forest.

It was stupid of me to go in this forrest but I felt I had a specific reason to come here. As if the forrest was dragging me here. I walked deeper and deeper into the woods, hands shoved into the pockets of my cardigan. It was warm but a bit chilly, I was wearing a sleeveless T-shirt with basketball shorts and slip on sneakers. I reached a clearing and it looked oddly familar but what made stop walking from afar was what was kneeling there in front of a large tree.

A guy.

A very familiar guy. Megatron.

He was on the ground in his holoform body, in front of a tree I clung to crying many years ago, and he was silently weeping into his hands. I felt my feet moving and my heart got stuck in my throat as I seemed to get closer and closer to the body. I looked over and noticed the form of his paleing hellicopter form. When my foot just had to snap a twig did his body freeze. His head rose slowly from his hands and turned to stare at me with wide eyes.

I stared back and it got very tense.

"Megatron..." I whispered and I saw tears leave his eyes and trail down his face. The fact that the war tryrant was crying was enough to scare me. He never cried. Heck, he barely shows emotion.

"L-Lillian..." He whispered and stood up. He still was taller then me by a few inches but I guess it was normal.

I looked over his face and noticed the same scars there from before, but the very dark circles under his eyes were new, and his once smooth confident vocals sounded tired and stressed.

I found myself walking closer until I was only 4 feet away. "You...Look beautiful." He whispered. I flushed and looked down crossing my arms over my bigger chest. I looked back up to see a small smile very faint smile grace his features.

"Thank you. What are you doing here?" I whispered and he looked back over at the tree behind him. Where he first met me. I ground my teeth together as my heart clenched painfully as the memories came back.

"...I miss you..." He whispered again. Not bothering to look at me he turned fully to look at the tree again.

"Dont." I bit out and he turned to glare at me. "Why did you do it Lillian."

"I had to."

"Why?"

"A reason. I dont want to discuss this anymore." I whimpered as he stood directly in my space bubble.

"You were crying here. You looked so sad and pitiful I was gonna kill you to stop your weeping. But you looked up and those bright blue eyes caught me off gaurd along with your ears and tail." He rumbled and I stared up at him.

"Meg-"

"You came back with me and you were so happy. So very safe,"

No I wasnt.

"And then when we got together. I loved that blush and smile on your face. I loved holding you when you cried. I loved being around you. I loved kissing you." He went on and started pacing back an forth.

I had tears fall down my face at the memories and rubbe them away roughly. I didnt want to do this. Not now!

"Megatron."

"But then you said you dont love me!" He laughed panicly.

"Sto-"

"You said you wanted to leave. You didnt Love me. It broke my spark. And to think I could love a mere human. So much as trust one to only get that thrown in my face!"

"quit it!" I whispered and pain was very well etched on my face. I couldnt believe he was doing this, his pacing grew quicker, it startled me when he laughed.

"But for what Lillian?!" He yelled turning to face me.

"..."

"...You were so happy."

"I was not." I whispered and he paused coming closer to me.

"Your smiles said otherwise."

"You wouldnt know! I wanted to leave."

"Why not say sooner."

"Cause I did love you! I still do love you Megatron!"

"What?" He whispered and I saw the unshed tears in his eyes.

"...I still..Do love you." I whispered and walked over to hug him. He stood as stiff as a bored and I just hugged him tighter until he wrapped his arms back around me.

"Come back." He whispered brokenly.

"I cant."

"Why not?"

"I love someone else."

At that he shoved me away from him and stared me down. I felt my heart brake even more, I pulled my arms around me once again, tears rolling down my face.

"Who."

"...Optimus." I whimpered and I saw his vulnerable eyes turn battle hardened as he grabbed me by the neck and shoved me right in the tree I met him from. I choked and clawed at his hand, I slowly felt the air leave my lungs and my eyes were as wide as saucers. He was grinning like a maniac.

That was until he realized what he was doing and let me go. I fell to my knees rubbing my throat. I choked on some air and looked up with a glare.

"M-monster." I whispered and his hardened gaze turned hurt. He backed away and his back hit his real form.

"N-no. I-" A sudden ninja star flew out and Megatron doged it in time for it to lodge itself in his metal form. We both looked over shocked to the holoform of prowl standing right the in the edge of the clearing. Another star in his hand and ready to be thrown.

"Leave while you can. It is only fair, Im giving you a chance since you meant no harm, for it was only a talk I saw." He whispered in his smooth voice and Megatron looked ready to kill.

"Megatron. Leave. Please." I whispered from my place on the ground and we stared a few more minutes.

His eyes were hurt and he looked rejected and tired but nodded and the holoform dissappeared, insted the hellicopter flew up and took off.

I watched it leave with an aching sense in my chest until a gloved hand wrapped around my upper arm.

"I'll take you back, Optimus is worried." He whispered and I instantly panicked. "Do not worry. I wont tell him unless this becomes a problem."

"Y-you followed me?" I gasped and he turned back into a motorcycle. I hopped on with a helmet and he took off at a gentle but quick pace back to base.

"You cant sneak by a ninja. And it was 3 am." He said lightly and I smiled, gripping the handle bars tighter. But then I frowned.

"You heared everything?"

"Yes.."

"...Do you hate me." I whimpered and he took several minutes to come up with an answer.

"N-no." He said back as we drove down the road after taking a corner. the base in view.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Coming when you did. He was scaring me and my heart was br-breaking..."

"...I suppose your welcome."

I smiled when he stopped and I hopped off. Looking back at the base then up at prowl who was in Bi-pedal form. My heart clenched at the image of me hurting Megatron so badly to make him cry. I wiped tears away and put on a fake smile as I walked into base and saw a panicing Optimus.

"LILLIAN! What were you thinking?"

I still love you Megatron.
