There are a few things that are certain in life, we can’t pick our family and we can’t help who we fall in love with.  As much as we try to control our own destiny; it’s damn near impossible.  All we have control over is the decisions we make in this life.  Some choose to follow a path of truth and honesty, while others prefer to take a darker path one full of lies and deceit.  Is it possible to detour from one path to the other?  This is the question that Kamryn James has been struggling with for as long as she can remember.  By day Kamryn was a self-made business woman, who graduated from college at the top of her class and looks like she stepped off the cover a magazine, but by night she was the head of the biggest drug operation on the east coast.  After the death of her father Kalvin “King” James, Kamryn inherited the “family business” and has been running this multi-million dollar operation for 2 years, many say she’s running it better than her father ever did.  A budding relationship with a Police Officer named Tremaine Neverson has Kamryn questioning whether or not this lifestyle is for her, but is Officer Neverson really what he appears to be?   Can Kamryn make a change and get out of the game before it’s too late, or will she share the same fate as her father?
