[The day before]
After the incident in Paris that had disturbed many citizens, the Government urges the immediate arrest of the mutants involved in the commotion.
Of the mutants involved, only one mutant they could identify with certainty.
Erik Lehnsherr, the mutant who had been implicated in the assassination of Kennedy many years ago.
Since the crisis that occurred in Cuba, the government had designated him as a threat, even though they gave him the freedom to occupy an island called Genosha. Over the years they have continued to monitor the island.
"These mutants, they are dangerous, they must be caught immediately. I'm afraid that they will hinder our sentinel project" said Trask.

Stryker took over in the Investigations and a search for the fugitive mutants has been launched. They started their investigation from the Pentagon, the place where Erik Lehnsherr first escaped from prison. They were obviously going to make their job easier by looking for mutants they had identified.
They had to find out who was responsible for Erik Lehnsherr's escape. The dangerous mutant must be caught immediately before he made a commotion that threatened the public again.
They couldn't get much physical evidence because CCTV cameras were hacked, so they gathered witnesses. And it was with the statements of the witnesses that they were able to identify the people involved in the prison break.
The data of the suspect has been collected. They identified three people who they assumed were mutants. However, there was one data file of the three suspects that caught Stryker's attention, he always liked interesting things.
