The Great zombie Apocalypse Of 1980

Feb 10th, 1980. It had just turned to 1980 a few weeks ago, and one morning it was like every normal morning. Wake up, coffee, breakfast, etc. But they always watch the news in the morning and there was people saying that there was a zombie apocalypse, it was spreading like a  wildfire. They said "have weapons and make sure you have some flashlights, all the doors being blocked and even maybe board it up." And ella, she lived alone. She was so scared. Ella called her friend Mackenzie  over. They had a lot of groceries. So they boarded up the doors and didnt eat or drink anything unless the needed too.  She had a baseball bat, a paddle that hurts very bad, and knives from her kitchen. She also had her wooden spoon out. They boarded up all the doors, shut and locked all windows and blinds. Mackenzie already had clothes at Ellas house but she  brought  some anyways. They kept the news on for updates. They didnt go anywhere at all. Mackenzie had flashlights and brought them over for Ella. Ella said "I have my phone fla-.." but she got cutoff by the news reporter saying "THEIR OUTSIDE OUR BUILDING IN OUR AREA EVERYONE STAY SAFE!!" Ella started freaking out. Mackenzie was in tears. Then Mackenzie said that she started hearing noises and she started crying harder. Both of them heard the neighbors go outside and screamed so they looked through the blinds and there it was, a dead body with its brain pulled out of its head, limbs torn off, and blood everywhere so at this point, they were both crying. Zombies were already banging on the house and some of them saw them when Mackenzie and Ella looked through the blinds. So there were more zombies banging on the house, and windows. They ran to the attic. It was in  Ella's closet. She locked the closet door and the attic door it was extremely hot so the brought a fan, charger and phone, pillow and blanket just incase. And there was food in Ella's room so she brought it and water. Mackenzie made a joke because she was trying to brighten things up a little bit. But Ella didnt laugh all she said was "really? Your telling jokes right now?!?!? We could be dead..." Mackenzie's response was "sorry just tryna brighten things up a bit." Ella gave her a death stare. And Ella's house was haunted so they heard noises from downstairs and suddenly.. there was no laughing, talking just.. silence. They heard them banging on the windows then.. *glass breaking* they heard the sound of glass breaking. They looked through their window from the attic and there was blood, bones, limbs, and ripped skin everywhere.. and there was still zombies outside. They heard zombies come and and started saying "I love you" to eachother and crying and hugging while covering their mouths.  They were so scared they were gonna die. They had a baseball bat and a big, and sharp knife with them.  A zombie went upstairs and they saw the zombies. They broke down the door and they ran towards the girl Ella grabs the knife, Mackenzie grabs the baseball and Ella stabbed the zombie in the head and Mackenzie hit it with the baseball bat repeatedly in the stomach untill it died. They did that to every zombie. There was no more zombies in the room so they shut the bedroom door and locked it while zombies were banging on it still. They got a call from one of the smartest scientist ever in the world asking if they were okay. Ella explained what had just happend. The scientist came in a helicopter on the roof and somehow came in safely and went with the girls and went back in the helicopter with them. (It was a big one) they landed in a bunker were theres food,water, and a lab with so what, "cures"  the girls had a offer to help the scientist and of course they said yes! The got the samples out. And zombies broke in. They came charging at us and the scientist all he said was "these are some strong zombies, we have to work harder, inject the zombies with he samples. When theres no more left of them, use the weapons I'll be boarding up the door and I'll have a weapon." "Ok" said both of the girls.

The girls were hitting, stabbing, and injecting the so called "cure" not if it worked except for when they were hurting them. A bunch of people have died now. The scientist wasnt powerful enough to get the door shut to board it up... long story short... the scientist was killed, right. Infront. Of the girls. They started running with their weapons in their hands. They ran into the water room. Locked it and boarded it up, VERY good this time. Zombies were banging on the door. The looked through the bottom of the door. And a zombie was too they made eye contact and the zombie made a yelling noise
And the started banging on it faster and HARDER AND LOUDER at this point they both thought they were gonna die but Ella knew, they've been so close to death so many times she knew that they'll be fine but at the same time her panic mode was turned on just a little bit. Ella looked under the door again and the zombie was still there but, it was a different zombie. Her hand was a little under the door and, she didnt realize so the zombie bit her finger off. There was blood everywhere and she could hear the zombie bit a piece of her finger and chewing she was already crying so much and so hard but the sound of the bones crunching against the zombies rotten old teeth just disgust her even more. I guess you could say the zombie wanted seconds. The zombie made a hole in the door with its hand and bit her hand off. She passed out and the last thing she heard before she did was Macksnzie crying the zombie eating the hand slowly finger by finger and the blood hitting the floor. And when she passed out she didnt wake up. She died of loss of blood. She was Mackenzie's bestfriend, who had life flashed before their eyes, and killed right INFRONT of her. She had to make a big and hard decision but she wanted the zombies to go away, it hurt her so bad but she had to give the zombies what she wanted. So she cut off all her limbs in fingers with the huge knife they had as weapons before.  She put the through the hole in the door . She felt so bad. She thought "If I even do make out of here alive, how am I gonna live with myself after this, she was my bestfriend, and I know she would never do anything like that to me. I wish I didnt, I HATE ME."   A few days has passed. Mackenzie still feels the same. Zombies are gone, but not outside she still hates herself for what she did. She wished it was her that had been dead. Not ella. The zombies come back everyday so on that day shes used to it. She doesnt know what to do anymore. Theres blood on the floor and that give her flashbacks everyday and it always makes her sad and makes her cry. She always talks to herself like shes talking to Ella and says sorry for what she did. She misses the world. But one day. She looked outside because the zombies didnt come or make any noises and there it was, NORMAL PEOPLE AGAIN! but there was people cleaning. There was blood and dead bodies everywhere though. She went home but she had to walk. She had weapons and she was so scared. She was looking around to make sure everything was okay. She went home. And the doors were knocked down so she just boarded everything up untill stuff was really back to normal. After a little while of that she looked outside and, children were outside playing again, PEOPLE WERE DRIVING! Mackenzie was so relieved. She had saved enough money to get her doors fixed and Bill's payed for.  Everything was ok again..
