"WHAT ABOUT MR. DIBBLES???" It had been about thirty minutes in the morning when Pietro started babbling worriedly about his beloved turtle.
"Bova has brought that turtle to Genosha, you don't have to worry," Erik said while stirring his hot coffee.
"No! no! no! Who's going to feed him? What if Mr. Dibbles is given the wrong amount of food? Or what if Mr. Dibbles goes on a hunger strike just because it's not me who feeds him???" Pietro paced around the kitchen, still unable to calm down.
Erik rubbed his forehead, trying to retrain his patience with Pietro.
"Eat your breakfast!" Erik said pulling Pietro to sit and be quiet, eating his breakfast before he fainted from hunger.
"AND MY SILVER JACKET? HAS BOVA BROUGHT IT TOO?" asked Pietro.
"Shsshh," Erik hissed, telling Pietro to refocus on his breakfast.
"We're going back to Genosha today, that way you can meet your turtle, and I'm sure Bova has packed all your things," said Erik while styling Pietro's hair which was still disheveled, his hair has grown very long now. Erik pulled it up so it didn't fall over his face.
"Why are you two going back to Genosha so soon?" said Charles, he came with Hank pushing his wheelchair.
Suddenly a brilliant idea crossed Pietro's mind, "We can take Uncle Charles and Hank to Genosha...." Pietro said to Erik who was almost choking on his coffee.
Of course, Erik would love to take Charles to Genosha, but only if he wanted to.
"I don't think I can....I can't just leave the mutants in the Mansion unattended and unprotected," said Charles.
"We can also take them to Genosha, they'll have a house there. Right, Papa?" Pietro looked back at his father, waiting for Erik's nod of approval.
"You're right," Erik replied, nodding.
"But that's only if they want, we can't force them to stay in Genosha," Erik spoke again.
"I'll ask" Pietro replied immediately darting away and leaving only a gust of wind.
"Pietro wait! Your breakfast--" Erik sighed heavily as Pietro left before finishing his breakfast.
Charles sipped his tea, and so did Hank.
"Did you sleep well last night?" The random question was suddenly asked by Charles to Erik.
"More than I expected," said Erik flatly, turning the pages of the newspaper.
Hank could only stare at them in surprise, a few days ago they were always fighting and yelling at each other, and now they started talking in a sweet tone.
"So how?? you want to come?" Erik asked a little nervous but he couldn't explain why.
"I'll think about that later," Charles smiled back.
