"Chris, you may be the craziest person I ever met! But I have to admit that was fun..." I admit as I open the door to my apartment, hanging the keys on the hook and throwing my bag on the floor.
"What was fun?" we hear Roman's voice from the couch.
"Hey Rom'!" I beam at my friend. I have to admit that I missed him while he was visiting his family in Canada.
"What the bloody hell is he doing here?!" Chris shrieks, holding her hand over her heart dramatically.
"I gave him my spare keys before we left for worlds, so I'm guessing he let himself in..."
"Exactly! So what was fun?" Roman asks again, taking turns in hugging both of us.
"Oh nothing, we just snuck up to the roof of the rink to take a couple of pictures!"
"And watch the sunset!"
"You guys went without me?!" Roman exclaims in a mock tone.
"Oh calm your tits Roman, you were probably still at the airport! Yeah I think the pictures turned out great, you should post them..."
"I know, but I'm gonna get so much hate... I had to disable my comments after worlds..." I gulp at the memory of getting thousands of comments under my posts. Some were just curious about the rumors. Others were plain mean.
"Just ignore them, at least you'll get more likes..." Chris smirks, grabbing my phone to choose the picture she likes the most.
"Fine, just post it. I'm gonna go shower, can you guys just order the food?"
"Sure, you want the usual crispy duck?" Roman asks, rummaging through the papers on my desk to find the takeout menu.
"You know me well!" I call out from the bathroom before shimmying out of my clothes.
