Being Natasha Romanoff's girlfriend is one of many things. Well, that's what you said it was. You had met Natasha a few years back, both of you starting off as friends. A few years later, specifically 2 months ago, things got more serious. You and her had shared a kiss, been on a date, ultimately ending up in confessing feelings for each other.

It was perfect. But being Nat's lover also came with some casualties, though.

1. Natasha didn't want the avengers—her friends—knowing about you. You're special to Natasha, and she wanted your relationship to be kept between you guys for a little.

2. You were automatically in danger the day you come forward about being Tasha's girlfriend. Natasha's an ex-assassin, for Christ's sake. Things are going to get rocky real quick.

3. Well, this was more of a you-personal-problem, you were slightly insecure. I mean, who isn't? What if the Avengers didn't like you, and/or what if they didn't approve? Natasha had always told you that it would be fine, and that they'd love you, but there was always a thread of doubt lingering in the back of your mind.

As you woke up, you yawned quietly, not wanting to wake up a sleeping Natasha. You had been at the compound, knowing—or thinking—the compound was empty.

As you slowly crept out of bed, you carefully opened up the door, going to the kitchen to get some coffee. You rubbed your eyes and yawned once again as you opened the fridge. You got out the milk and readjusted your oversized black widow shirt you bought at Walmart.

A few minutes later, you finished making the beverage. Once you took a few sips, you were woken up enough to go back to the room. But as we're going back, though, someone came and bumped into you, spilling the coffee all over you.

You screamed loudly at the heat of the coffee burning your skin and as you did, you see every Avenger staring at you, their weapons pointed at you.

Suddenly Natasha comes running out, guns in hand as she pointed it at everyone. You subconsciously ran to the red-head hiding behind her as you winced from the pain you were in.

Natasha's eyes widened and her face contorted in anger, "What the hell did you do to her?!"

"Wait, who's this?" Tony asked as she looked between you two.

"Shut up!" Nat cut him off, "You spilled fucking coffee on my girlfriend!"

"Cherry, can we please go to the bathroom so I can get this off of me?" you asked in a small voice (ALTHOUGH YOU FELT LIKE YOUR SKIN WAS FUCKING BURNING OFF. WTFFFF😃?????)

"Yeah, yeah," Natasha nodded frantically as she led you to her room, "C'mon, baby."

As you both went back inside, she didn't forget on shooting a glare to everyone, seeing how they shrunk in fear.

When she closed the door, Nat tore your shit off, leading into the bathroom where she carried you inside, turning on the cold water where she gently placed you inside. As she slowly took off your wet shorts, she noticed the slight burns on your stomach and legs.

"I'm gonna fucking kill them," Natasha grunted.

You shook your head as you winced, "No, no, it's okay."

Natasha sighed and slowly massaged your legs and stomach under the cold water.

After a while, you had gotten cleaned up and the pain had subsided. You could still notice the burns, but you were sure with some cream, they would probably go away.

Most of the coffee was on the kitchen floor.

"I'm gonna go get a water," you sat up from the bed, "you need anything?"

"Y/N, are you sure you wanna go out there?" Natasha moved behind you and opened her legs so your back was facing her chest. She put her head in the crook of your neck as she hugged you from behind, "I mean, they did just spill coffee on you."

You slightly shrugged, "I mean, that's probably their defense mechanism. You'd probably do the same."

Nat nodded, "True, true," she sighed, "I'll go with you. I'll introduce us while we're at it."

You both stood up and intertwined your fingers as you made it back to the kitchen, seeing the Avengers sitting down nervously at the lounge right next to the kitchen.

"Okay," Nat and you walked towards them, "This is my girlfriend, Y/N."

"Hey," you waved as they looked at you.

"She's the love of my life and you touch her again, I'll kill you. Trust me, I know 283 ways to stab someone with only a pencil."

Everyone gulped in fear and you chuckled sheepishly as you turned to her, "She doesn't mean that."

"Oh, yes, I do."

"Okay!" You nervously laughed, "Anyways, nice to meet you all."

Bucky went up to you, "Hey, doll. Uh, sorry for spilling your coffee all over you..."

"Oh," you smiled and you looking in his eyes, knowing how much he regretted it, "It's no problem, dude. You're forgiven," You smiled once again and as you glanced at him, you gasped, "HOLY SHIT! IS THAT A METAL ARM?!"

"uh..yeah?" Bucky answered nervously.

You jumped up and down, "That's so cool!"

"Wait," he said, surprised, "You think it's cool?"

"Yeah!" You nodded, "Whoa!" You turned to Nat, "Can I pretty please get a metal arm too?"

"What- no!" She answered above all the chuckles that were emitted by the avengers, "That would mean your arm were to get cut off and I don't want you to get your arm cut off!"

You shrugged, "Do it for the vine!"

"Vine's dead..." Tony inquired.

"Don't remind me," you fake-teared up.

2 YEARS LATER

"NAT," You ran into the living room with Bucky as you both grinned enormously, "Nat! Guess what?!"

"What?!" She stood up abruptly.

You smiled and took off your jacket revealing a metal arm.

"WHAT THE FU-"
