Chapter 1

Jades POV
I heard my phone going off
Ugh school.
Oh hi! I'm Jade!
I'm usually not the kind of person who would be positive and upbeat, I'm not that person. I'm more of I'll stay in the corner and hide kind of girl.
Anyways... I got up and did my usual morning routine.
I put on my ripped black jeans with my American Horror story shirt.
Then I walked to my bathroom and did my make up.
I'm really insecure about a lot of things so I just hide them.
I brushed my hair and teeth and went down stairs.
"Honey your dad and I are going out of town for a few months." My mom said as I entered the kitchen.
"Mom what the hell am I going to do about paying bills and shit." I responded
"Dollar now." My dad demanded.
I sighed and dug around in my bag and put a dollar in the swear jar.
"I already paid them and there's some money for you to buy food." She answered.
"Ok so when are you guys leaving?" I asked.
"Tonight." My dad answered.
I pulled out another dollar from my bag.
"What the fuck." I said.
"Jade I'm sorry but we both need some time together." My dad said.
"Who the hell is gonna be here then." I asked.
"Cameron and Nash are always an option? And your 17 Jade." My mom answered.
"Fine." I answered.
"Get to school Jade." My dad said.
"Ugh, ok bye guys." I said grabbing my bag and car keys.
I drove to school and met up with Anthony and Lia.
Yes I'm friends with YouTubers jealous?
"Hey girl!" Anthony said giving me a hug.
"Hey." I answered.
"You look so fucking done." Lia said laughing.
"I am. My mom and dad are leaving for a couple months." I answered.
"Ouch and you really need them don't you." Anthony said.
"Yeah." I said looking down.
"Jade can I talk to you in private for a second?" Lia asked.
"Lia I need to get to class." I answered.
"I don't give a fuck." She said grabbing my arm and taking me to the basement.
"Ok what?" I said once we were down there.
"Show me your arm." She said.
"Lia." I started.
"Show me your arm!" She demanded.
I pulled up my sleeves and bracelets revealing countless scars. I saw Lia's face.
I saw a tear slip from her eye.
"I'm sorry Lia." I said crying.
She pulled me into a hug.
"Have you told Shawn?"
Shawn's my cousin, who's basically a best friend/brother to me.
"No he doesn't even know." I answered.
"Tell him tonight." Lia said.
"Ok I will." I said.
"Do you just wanna stay down here until 2nd period?" She asked.
"Yeah. I skipped breakfast so I should eat something." I answered.
Lia pulled out a bar and juice.
I've been anorexic since I was in middle school and everybody has been trying to get me to eat. It got so bad that I had to be hospitalized for a whole year. And I never wanna go back to that.
"So did you hear?" Lia said.
"What?" I said looking up from my phone.
"The our2ndlife boys are transferring here on Wednesday." She answered.
"Bruh didn't you date Jc?" I asked.
"Yeah..." She answered.
"Isn't gonna be awkward?" I said laughing.
"Meh." She said.
"I'm gonna tell Anthony to get his ass down here." I said texting him.
Me: Hey BETCH! Come down to the basement!
Bad Bitch💅:Bitch I'm in class😂
Me: Does it sound like I give a fuck?
Bad Bitch💅: Ugh sometimes you can be a hoe.
Me: Thanks slut😘
Bad Bitch💅: Ugh fine I'll be down in a few.
Me: YAY!
"He's on his way." I said to Lia.
"Yay!" She answered.
"So Jade." She said.
"Yeah?" I asked
"I'm texting Trevor and I think he likes you." She said
"Bitch we hung out one time with you and Cam." I laughed
"But just listen to this." She said putting a voicemail on.
"Hey Lia! So I'm going to your school soon and I just wanted to tell you that I think I like Jade.... And I don't know if she likes me like I know we hung out once but she's so beautiful and I just wanna hug her whenever. So text me when you get this. Byeeee." The voicemail ended.
Tears sprung to my eyes.
"WHAT UP BAD BITCHES." Anthony yelled as he got out of the elevator.
I ran up and gave him a hug.
"Honey are you ok?" He asked hugging me back.
I pulled up my sleeves of my black hoodie and the bracelets and showed him the scars.
"Aw sweetie." He started.
"Guys! I have an idea." Lia said.
"What is it this time?" I asked.
"How about we take the day off?" She suggested.
"Bitch do you know who dead I would be?! My parents would kill me!" I whisper shouted.
"Didn't they leave already?" She asked.
"They leave in a hour." I said checking my phone.
"Perfect. We'll stay until 3rd, and leave at break." Lia answered.
"Did you guys drive?" I asked.
"Nope! My mom dropped me and Anthony off." She said beeming.
I sighed. "Who wants to drive?" I said holding up my keys.
"YAY!" Anthony shouted.
"We leave at the start of break no sooner." I said.
"Promise."
