I woke up the next day. I looked around to see no Wyatt which made me feel slightly sad but also slightly relieved as I was feeling worse than I did the night before. I tried to make If look like I wasn't dying inside which was pretty had as I got changed into some shorts and a green jumper since my bottom half was really warm and my top half was freezing cold which I didn't understand, I put my hair in a tao half French braids. I slipped on my converse and grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs for breakfast. Addison, mum and dad gave me some toast while they had fruit, Addison gave me the knowing look which I just scrunched my nose up at her, they were shocked by Addison's new look
"So new look?" Mum asked her and I sniggered lightly as they would've never expected this fashion choice to come from Addison, they were used to me after many years but it wasn't technically their daughter
"I like it and my new friends like it as well" Addison explains and I smiled
"I like it too" I added on which made Addison smile at me even more
"Did you join a rock band?" Dad asked and I took that as my cue to leave, I took my dishes in the sink, picked up my backpack and left for school with Addison behind me
"So what happened? How are you feeling?" She asked while looking at me but I just shook my head
"Addison we only slept in the same bed. I don't know what it is Addison but I feel like I'm sick but it's not me who had the sickness" I explained and she looked at me, pulling me to look at her
"What if you're feeling what Wyatt is feeling, since their pack is getting sick and you're just feeling it a lot worse?" She asked which made me look at her wide eyes and then pull her into a hug
"You're an actual genius Addison" I said while smiling and we arrived at school. We heard an announcement of that the election was today and I know that Zed was probably worried about what to do since him and Addison were slightly rock at the moment. All eyes were on Addison and I when we walked through the door. Then the aceys stood up and called to us
"Bad hair day?" Lacey asked as we turned around
"Bad hair life" Stacey added and I glared at them, my hair starting to turn red as I stepped forwards
"Back up before I make you aceys" I threatened but Addison grabbed my arm so I calmed down, coughing slightly
"I think it looks great" Addison said and I smiled at her
"Well not so much" JC said and they all clicked their fingers together in sync which weirded me out slightly
"If you ever expect to be cheer captain-" Lacey said but Addison cut her off
