Once we were all stood there Zed stepped forwards towards his dad
"You gotta stop the demolition dad, I know how hard you worked to get this job but if it's going to hurt the werewolves you have to stop it" Zed said while looking at me which made me smile. His dad looked skeptic but then he had the slightest smile on his face which I knew meant good news
"You're right, Darcey and Addison are right, shut it down, stop the detonation, tomorrow when it's safe we'll find what you're looking for but right now you can all go home" he called out and we all cheered as they uncuffed the wolves. Wyatt ran towards me and picked me up, twirling me around in her arms. I laughed as he smiled and gently put me down
"So what wrong?" He asked and I playfully rolled my eyes
"I can feel your sickness just a little bit worse that all Wyatt" I explained as he played with my hair
"I'll try and protect you" he said but I just looked at him
"You might not get a choice Wyatt, you can't stop it" I explained but he just held my face
"Not if I have anything to say about it" he said, leaning in and I met him half way and we kissed, it felt electric and as soon as we pulled away, we were both smiling as we ran out with everyone else
"We did it! We stopped the demo" Addison cheered as Wyatt grabbed my hand, smiling at me which I returned but it quickly disappeared when Zed's face dropped
"Hey what's wrong?" Addison asked and I pulled away from Wyatt for a moment to go by Addison
"Addison, I'm gonna loose the election which means I'm not going to be able to take you to the prawn" he explained and I sighed, I wish he could go with Addison but at this stage there was no chance it was going to happen
"That's ok Zed we can not go to the prawn together" Addison said, not phased that she couldn't go which made me smile because as long as she was with Zed she didn't mind, he looked past me at the wolves her were smiling and then looked extremely guilty and pulled out the necklace that Addison had lost earlier which made her face light up
"He found it" she said while laughing and then hugged Zed thanking him but he looked even more guilty which made it all click so I sighed while looking at Zed
"What?" She asked me and Zed
"I took it, I stole it when you weren't looking" he confessed and Addison held out her hand to me which I grabbed, we used to do that all the time when one of us needed the other for comfort. I rubbed my hand up and down her arm, trying to calm her down as best as I could
"I thought I'd lost it, I questioned myself" she said slightly angrier by the second
"Addison I'm sorry but I was afraid that if you turned into a wolf I'd loose you" he confessed and I looked at Addison, my only thought being wrong answer zed
"You don't get to make that choice for me" She said, even more angry and I thought she was going to loose it so I tried to pull her away from Zed which she let me do lightly
"But a werewolf?" He asked which made me hurt since my mate was a wolf and he wasn't that bad
"I finally find where I belong and you try and steal that from me? Why would I ever go to the prawn with you after what you did?" She asked and pulled away from me slightly, putting on the necklace which flowed a bright blue but then she turned around and sadly she was still my Addison, the one who was a little too excited in the mornings when she first woke up, the one who made me go to all her cheer competitions just so she could smile when she saw me, just my baby sister that always helped and supported me when I needed her, my Addison
"Am I?" She asked looking at me
"You're beautiful Addi, But you're the same beautiful you've always been baby sis" I explained and she looked hurt so I pulled her into a hug, knowing what If was like for it not to go the way you hoped
"She's not a werewolf" I heard Wyatt say while Addison pulled away from the hug with in her eyes and I cupped her cheek
"You'll always be my sister Addi, if you don't belong anywhere then neither do I" I explained which made her smile as she held hands with me again
"Boss" we heard one of the workers call while he ran over to Zed's dad
"We got a problem, the remote shorted out now the detonation timers running" he explained while we all looked shocked. They all rushed forward while I stuck behind looking at the building and then my hands that were burning red. I started to run towards the building
"Darcey no!" I heard my dad call out as everyone ran after me, i jumped down and stood in front of the building but before I threw my hands out in front of me, the detonation went off. As the building collapsed it was too much for em as I was already ill, my powers retracted around me as I fell to the floor, I could hear Addison scream and Wyatt running over to me
"Baby hey I'm here hold on for me" he called out to me but it was like a drowned out noise while I was coughing
"You're moonstone, I'm sorry Wyatt I didn't make it in time" I said as I tried to steady my breathing and he knelt down
"But you're more important to me, we both know it would've hurt you more" he whispered but then started coughing, I tried to sit up, fighting through the pain to get to Wyatt, I tried to grab his hand but I fell unconscious before I could
