Chapter 9 - Elina Rose

It's been hours since I bought a new car for Julia... And it was a bit until I saw her come back. She came back with all types of papers filled with information, which I assumed was about that woman.

"I told you I would find this majestic woman!" She winked at me, placing all the papers and her opened laptop onto the table infront of me. "This fast though? I wouldn't have seen that coming." I mumbled, grabbing her laptop. It showed an image of the woman in a suit.. and at the bottom there was an article about her. "Let's just say this is from... experience." Julia laughed, sitting down next to me.

I didn't pay much attention to her since I was focused on the article.

"She's married with a child?!" I furrowed my eyebrows, looking back at Julia who was chewing on candy. "Isn't that what is says in the article...?" She lifted her a brow, slowly chewing on her candy.

I couldn't believe what I was reading.. She's married! With a child! I hated to believe it... yet it was right there! Right infront of me. She's married to a man!! I could never have a chance with her.. She has a life already. She's a business woman, she's a wife and a mother.. I wouldn't want to ruin that.

Plus, we're both different in so many ways. For example, i'm already rich so I don't work, i'm not married, I don't like children & men! And the obvious.. i'm a vampire meanwhile she's a human who has everything set.

However, this woman Scarlet.. I have to admit she's beautiful but I just can't believe that she's married and has a child! She looks so young for all of this! She looks like as if she were in her late twenties atleast!

Although.. she fascinates me. Yes, she seems like a normal human, with her life together! There's something about her.. yet I can't really place what that was. I can't help to keep her in my mind. I have this urge to know everything about her, to be with her. I want to know more about her other than what the internet says.

I never thought i'd be asking Julia to research a woman for me.. god what is wrong with me!

It's not like i'd ever have a chance with her. She's straight and married already.. how would she ever notice me. We're strangers to each other, she doesn't know me and I don't know her personally.. so I should stop and get her out of my head.

Julia sighs. "Well.. I know this isn't what you really expect to see but you never know.." She said, "Maybe she wants a divorce with that strange man!" She winked, standing up and leaning against the counter.

"How could that ever be, Julia? They have a child together.. They've been married for various years.. I can't just squeeze in there!" I exclaimed, shutting the laptop.

We both stayed silent, not knowing what to say since we were in our thoughts.

"What about it?" Julia questioned. "Look at them.. I don't think they're that happy with eachother." She adds, picking up a picture with Scarlet and her husband. I sighed looking up at her. "I don't know.. Only time will tell." I told her, looking down at my cold food. "Don't let a husband and child stop you from finding your soulmate!"

"She's probably straight! Plus, she's a mother and you know i'm not very good with children.." I muttered, bawling my hands into fists. Julia sighs, "One day i'm going to have a child of my own.. You'll be the grandma of it." She said as I raise my eyebrow. "No, no, no. I will not be the Grandma of your child.. i'll be the auntie. I'm not that old." I shake my head, irritated.

"Grandma Elina! Make me cookies please!" She laughed, tossing her head back. "Fuck you Julia." I whispered, "You're so nice." I muttered, as she rolls her eyes, afterwards shaking her head. "Thank you Elina, i'm always trying to be." She sarcastically smiles. "I hate you at times." I say, "I love you so much too." She looked at me, with that sarcastic smile still on her face.

I sighed. "Where does she lives?" I asked as she looks at me with an unbelievable face. "Don't tell me you're going to end up stalking this woman." She shook her head, opening a bottle of beer. "I won't stalk her! I just want to know where she lives for other reasons.." I quietly answered as she sighed, putting her bottle down. "I'll give you the address later.. I just want to know how you're doing, mentally." She says,

"I'm doing well, mentally." I answered. "Elina, please tell me.. how do you really feel?" She asked, watching me figdet with my fingers. "I feel so lonely." I answered her truthfully. "It's been a while since I last dated and I envy you for just being okay being alone..I don't know if I could be okay with that." I added.

She sighs, "We'll find your mate.. That's a promise." She said, "What if I don't have one? You know there's supernaturals who don't ever find a mate.. and die alone. What if that happens to me? Oh god.." I whispered the last part, gulping.

"You won't die alone.. and we'll find your mate." Julia told me with determination. "What if I don't have one?" I said. "Well.." She mumbled "You'll be able to have anyone you want..? Plus i'll be there!" She said quietly, sounding unsure.

"Right.." I whispered, crossing my legs.
