[September 13, 1981]That afternoon, it was almost dusk, the atmosphere became orange, a little calmer with a good mood too, he read each sentence written elegantly but simply on a neat white paper that was not dull so it was pleasing to the eye.
There was no music when Pietro read the letter from his friend, just sat in silence, sitting on his bed, he just wanted to focus on observing every story in the letter.
A year ago, Remy decided to leave, reasoning that he wanted to be adventurous and find a lot of new things out there, doing petty heists like he always did and trying to challenge so many people to beat him in a card game.
There was a small chuckle when Pietro read the part where Remy mentioned that he had three cats who were always with him. Oliver, Lucifer, and Figaro were their names, quite elegant names, Pietro thought.
Finally getting to the funny greetings and jokes at the end of the letter, Pietro folded the letter back, put it back in his envelope, then put it in a drawer.
There had been several before, Remy had never been absent from sending letters to update Pietro.
Placing himself in front of the mirror, looking at the scratch on his cheek, it was almost healed, but the slight stinging sensation when it hit the water could still be felt. That he just got yesterday after a mission with the Brotherhood.
It was about a few months ago, maybe about five months ago, that his Father formed that group, the Brotherhood of Mutants, he called it.
Good vision, reasonable enough, and trust in his father made Pietro willing to join.
His father was really cool when he formed the Brotherhood, and the missions had removed the boredom that has always plagued Pietro's life. There was always a sense of satisfaction when a mission was successfully carried out and the strange family atmosphere that is created among the members of the Brotherhood was all very valuable.
But far from that, there was something that filled his heart with joy when Erik felt proud of him. And Pietro didn't want to mess with that.
So all he did was obey his father
Maybe he was already stuck in that situation, where obedience to his father was always the most important, where Erik always made it seem like everything he did was right.

Night replaced afternoon, it was hours ago. Erik was still flipping through the pages of files containing government-owned databases that abuse mutants as their experiment.
The injustice was still there, trying to be hidden from the world, pretending that they had wholeheartedly accepted the existence of mutants.
It was this injustice that had established him to form the Brotherhood of Mutants. With respect and pleasure, Erik accepted anyone who was willing to dedicate themselves to the Brotherhood.
