Kanan was force training Ezra. You walk up with Sabine to watch the show, laughing at something she said.

"Could you both quiet down. I'm trying to train Ezra." Kanan scolded. "I thought Ezra was supposed to train, despite distractions? You're words, not mine." You stated. "This training session requires complete focus." Kanan replied. "Maybe he should focus on not getting distracted." You argued. Kanan sighed heavily and then looked at you and smirked. "You know what? You can help." Kanan grabs your arm and walks you over to Ezra. "Try using the force to pick up, (N)." "What, no!" You protested. "Kanan, I can't! I've never picked up people before, I'll drop her." Ezra argued. "I'll help you." He assured him. Ezra begrudgingly lifts his hand to carry you with the force. You feel your feet leave the ground as you slowly get further and further from the group.

Chopper comes over, speeding away from Zeb, and bumps into Ezra. The comforting feeling of the force around you quickly dissipates. You quickly drop down, air pushing against your vision as you get closer to the ground. "Ezra, catch her!" Kanan urged Ezra. Ezra lifts his hand to catch you, but nothing happens. The ground grows closer to you and you close your eyes, preparing to feel your body painfully meet the ground. Feeling nothing, you open your eyes to see Kanan's outstretched hand. You hover above him until Kanan gently puts you down.

You look down at your shaky hands and try to get up. Kanan moves to help you and you move his hand away. "I told you I didn't want to that!" You yelled at him and Briskly walk back to your room in the ghost.

After some time has passed, you've calmed down with still shaky hands. You felt guilty about how you reacted and felt bad, especially after seeing Kanan's face. You could tell he was regretful about it. You hear a knock on your door. "Come in." The door slides open and Kanan walks in. "I'm sorry I let you almost fall today. It was completely irresponsible and I would have never forgiven myself if you got hurt." Kanan confessed. You look at him with wide eyes. "There's two other people that owe you an apology."

Kanan said, moving aside to reveal Zeb and Chooper. "Me and Chooper got into a bit of a fight and we got so caught up in it all, that we almost got you hurt and we're sorry." Zeb apologized. Kanan kicked Chooper. "Chooper! You have to apologize too." Kanan urged Chooper. Chooper grumbled and chirped an apology. "I forgive both of you." You said. Zeb and Chopper both leave the room, about to start another argument and Kanan leaves before you can say anything to him.

The ghost team went on a mission for the rebellion and it quickly went sideways, like it usually does. One thing leads to another, you and Kanan got stuck in a cave and have to wait for the crew to get you out. "Can you stop pacing?" He asked while meditating. "I can't help it! I'm nervous, why aren't you?" You nervously asked. "because I'm not a walking nervous wreck." Kanan replied. "Now, can you try to stop pacing?" Kanan asked. "Fine." You said, sitting down. Kanan opens his eyes and looks at you. "What, am I breathing too loud for you?" You asked, agitated. "I don't know, try holding your breath and we'll see what happens." He answered. "You are the most aggravating person in the galaxy!" You yelled at him. "And you're right up there next to me." Kanan said with his eyes closed.

"You know, you can be so sweet and considerate, sometimes. That's what I love about you, but then you turn around and act like a total jerk." You said frustrated. "Wait, you love me?" Kanan asked with his eyes open and his body turned towards you. You walk over to Kanan and point your finger in his face. "I didn't say I love you! Saying I love you and saying I love something about you, are two very different things!" You yelled at him.

All Kanan does is smirk at you and gently grabs your hand, lowering it down. "Are you sure?" "Yeah, why?" You asked. "Because the force says otherwise." Kanan replied. "What in kriffing hell, would I know about the force?" You asked. "Nothing, but I wouldn't need it to know you're lying to me." Kanan answered. "And if I said I love you, it wouldn't matter. I know you don't love me back." You said, yanking your hand out of his and turn away from him. "I'm not good enough to love you. So, go ahead, laugh. Make a joke about this." You said, on the verge of tears. You were so embarrassed and just wished you could dig yourself a hole and hide.

Feeling Kanan's arms wrap around you, you turn around and Kanan kisses you. A surprised gasp leaves your lips and you melt into the kiss. Kanan pulls away from you with a smile, keeping his hands on each side of your face. "I love you too, idiot." "What?" You asked with burning cheeks. "I love you. I would have said it earlier, but you wouldn't let me get a word in." Kanan. "Oh, well that's unexpected." You said. "You are enough, more than enough." Kanan assured you.

You smile and pull him in for a kiss when the entrance exploded open with the crew waiting on the outside. "You guys are okay!" Ezra said relieved. "Woah, do we need to give you two a minute?" Sabine asked with a smile and Zeb chuckling beside her. "No, no, that's okay. Let's go." You pulling out of Kanan's arms. The crew walks back to the ghost and you and Kanan decide to lag behind while holding hands, enjoying each other's company.
