Quietly going back to my room, I step out onto the balcony looking outside at the still awake New York City. I smile to myself before stretching out, I pick up a fashion magazine reading for a while before heading back to bed.

Getting up at six thirty I started out with a few stretches before going for my morning run. On my way out for a run, I noticed dad curled up on the chair another indication of what transpired between him and mom last night.

When I got home dad was in the kitchen being his usual chirpy self. I took my bath quickly putting on my clothes and headed downstairs.

After breakfast, I helped dad to load the dishwasher until I heard a honk.

Grabbing my bag I wave my dad and sister goodbye before hopping into Justin's Mustang. Vivi and Justin always alternated it, if he picked me up today Vivi would pick me up tomorrow that way it won't be too clingy.

"Hey," I smile settling into his car and he pecks me

"Morning," he grins

Justin's parents are pretty rich just like the rest of my friends. Justin's parents own multiple five-star hotels around the world. They are pretty busy but not too busy they don't understand the importance of family. Justin has just one sibling, Kenna, she's in college and we've only met a few times.

I opened my compact mirror checking my hair before snapping it shut.

Justin and I walked into school together hand in hand like the power couple we are.

"So practice starts today?" I asked Justin as we stopped by our lockers

"Yeah, you?"

"Same,"

"I'll see you later, I need to catch up with the boys,"

"Bye," I waved

Pulling a binder out of my locker the rest of my books come crashing out

"Argh,"

I picked my books from the floor and a hand joined me only to lock eyes with Vivien.

"Thanks," I smile

"You're so in love," She rolled her eyes and I blushed furiously

Arranging the books back in my locker I slam it shut.

"So, Mel is running for class president," she started

"You are the head cheerleader, Coco wants to head the drama club and also do cheerleading,"

"We have a lot to do this year," I sighed

"We do," She confirmed

Whenever our friends wanted to go for something we always supported one another whether it is campaigning or helping them secure votes or advertising whatever it is and being the 'most popular girl in school' according to Mel I have a priority to help them achieve their goals, I am their friend after all.

Vivien's parents are famous lawyers who handle top cases, they are one of the best in the country. Vivi has an older brother who is in College, he attends the same school as Kenna, Justin's sister although I highly doubt they are friends. Kenna is more of a spitfire and Andre is generally laid back.

"So nominations start this week,"

"For class president?" I questioned

"Yup,"

"Ahh jeez" I sighed heading for class

"I'll see you later?"

"Yeah," I waved

I take AP classes along with Coco and Nico. AP classes are a lot harder than normal classes I guess that's why they are called AP.

After a boring history class with Coco and Nico, It's lunchtime and I am beyond exhausted. Taking a seat at our table I sighed.

"Where's Justin?"

"Right behind you," Nico replied and I turn around to see him heading in our direction

"Hey guys," He smiled

A lot of heys came from the table and we all settle for lunch.

"Ri, Let's do our history assignment together, I can't do it alone, It's so boring." Vivi whines

"Okay," I shrugged

"But it was interesting," Nico piped up and we all rolled our eyes

"Nico sometimes what you consider fun can be a bit extreme don't you think?" Vivi sarcastically remarked

"It's not," Nico defended

"It's okay bro, eat your lunch," Ethan patted his back

Ethan and Justin engage in some conversation about lacrosse while the rest of us ate our lunch quietly.

"Uhmm, Mel nominations for class president starts this week, do you have any ideas?" I inquired

"I was thinking flyers, buttons and a speech," She stated excitedly

"Uhmm..." Ana stared at me

"Why don't we try candy instead?" I suggested

"That's also nice..."

"Great! We'll go Candy shopping today with Coco then Vivi and Ana can get the materials for some posters!" I ticked them off my fingers clapping

"That's a plan," Vivi grinned
