When I got home Roxy was awake and watching TV.
"Hey," I called out unpacking the grocery bag
"Hello, Are you gonna make dinner or something?" She asks yawning from her spot in the living room.
"Only if you help,"
"Ugh..." she groans "You're annoying,"
"Ditto," I flashed her a smile putting the fruits in the fruit bowl
I remove the shiny necklace from the back and it turns out to be a custom made necklace, or so I think.
"Famille," I read it out loud with a slight French accent
My mind immediately goes to Leon but then I realize he lives about an hour away.
Tucked away in my pocket, I order Roxy to cut up the vegetables while I cook the chicken.
After dinner, I went to my room and opened my drawer to check if my means of survival were still available, satisfied I shut it locking up the drawer before heading to bed.
My body felt stiff as I sat up in bed sweating, I ran over to the bathroom slapping some water on my face before I picked up my phone to see a message from Leon.
Leon
Hey, so I kinda realized education here is different so I was wondering if you could help me with my assignments sometimes?
Not like every day or something but maybe like twice a week? If you're not busy...
Me
Sure, I think I can make time :)
Dropping my phone back on the nightstand I do a couple of stretches before going back to sleep.
...
"I finally spoke to Will and I think he's actually interested," Vivi squealed
"Of course you know he's interested," I rolled my eyes
"Duh," she smiles "But still it's nice to know I have that kind of effect,"
"We all do," I replied shaking my head and slamming my locker shut
"Oh yeah, Coco Cheerleading practice today,"
"Okay," She smiles before Ethan appear next to her slinging an arm over her shoulder
"Let's go," He smiled at her and she mirrored his smile before they both disappeared in the sea of people walking to classes
"Why don't you and Justin walk each other to class like that?" Vivi pointed out
"Not necessary," I shrugged "I mean we go on dates, we text, we call he visits me at home, so yeah, we don't wanna get bored of each other," I winked and flashed her a smile before entering my class.
AP literature has to be the worst, after calculus probably or maybe after history.
I took AP classes only, my parents were proud of me, well at least my dad since I doubt my mom knows what classes I took.
Ethan took a few AP classes too, so sometimes our timetables are similar.
Leon was in a few of my classes too so we usually sat together sometimes.
"Hey," Leon smiled appearing next to my locker
"Oh hey, great timing, I was thinking we should figure out our tutoring schedule,"
"Yeah that's great," He beamed
"How about your house?" I suggested
"No, no," He said quickly before adding "dangerous neighborhood, remember?"
"Yeah, maybe at the coffee shop? It's a lot quieter there after school for a couple of hours,"
"Yeah, that's fine,"
"So two times a week?" I inquired
"Yes," I nodded affirmatively
"Babe?" Justin called out and I smiled waving him over
"Leon, my boyfriend, Justin my friend..." I trailed off unsure if he wouldn't think I was weird since we haven't spoken much
"Hey," Justin waved casually smiling at him
Justin had never been the jealous type, ever, he was so laid back it almost hurt to think he couldn't be jealous.
The meeting between Leon and Justin was a bit awkward but I let it go as I and Justin head for the cafeteria.
We grabbed our food heading for our table, Vivi scoots closer to me whispering in my ear.
"I and Will are going out Friday, I really hope I get laid," She sighs
I scrunched my nose up shaking my head "I hope you don't,"
She rolled her eyes bumping her shoulder with mine.
"These glasses annoy me so much," Ana huffed
"You should probably get contacts," Nico suggested
"Yeah right if my mom lets me," Ana complained removing her glasses to clean them with her shirt while her cleavage accidentally showed more than she intended to.
"Ana," Nico nudged her looking away and she shrieks before pulling back her top while Vivi bursts into laughter.
"Hey, where's Mel?" Coco asked
"She's having lunch with Connor," Ana replied
Friday night came quickly enough and I was getting ready for my date with Justin.
The doorbell rang and I grabbed my purse making a beeline for the door but my dad's voice stops me in my tracks.
"Be back by ten,"
"Sure dad," I sighed swinging the door open to meet a beaming Justin
