Do you know the feeling of staying at home alone at night with no lights on and you can't just seem to find the switch.

That's how I feel, scared and alone.

It happened when I was 10. My dad was driving, mom was beside him and I was in the back seat. We were all happily singing a song and just then a boom and in a second everything was gone.

I must have fainted because when I woke up I was on a white bed. A girl was smiling down at me.

"It's going to be okay."
That voice. That touch.

"Don't worry. My mom always said that things will always be alright no matter what."
That smile. That optimism.

That was when I know I had somebody.

That was when I know I am not alone.

That was when I know someone is going to help me turn the switch on.
