|| T A Y L O R ' S POV ||

The ice cream parlor was cute. It was old fashioned, like we were time-travelled back into the 1950's. Logan and I walked up to the counter where an old man was waiting cheerfully.

"What'll do ya?" he asked as he showed us all of the ice cream in the display case. There were so many good flavors to choose from!

"I'll take butter pecan, please," Logan said with a smile on her face.

"I'll have the same," I answered. The man handed us two ice cream cones.

"Thanks!" we said in unison. I took out my wallet and paid.

"Oh," Logan started, a smile creeping on her face. "Thank you."

"Anything for a pretty girl like you," I replied. Oh God, that was cheesy.

We sat down in a booth and started talking to each other about our hobbies, likes, dislikes, dreams.

"Well, you're practically living your dream," Logan said in between licks.

"Sometimes," I admitted. "Being somewhat famous isn't all that it's made out to be."

I looked down at the tabletop and sighed. "I'm sorry," she said.

We ate our ice cream in silence. I didn't know what to say. Besides making videos and being on tour, I didn't really do anything else. I had no time to do anything else. Logan seemed pretty amazing. She volunteered at an animal shelter, streamed on Twitch, and was in all honors classes. I was so boring compared to her.

We started talking about the tour and some of the craziest things I've ever seen. I've also talked about some die-hard fans.

"Yeah, one time in Philly, there was this girl that I met in a clothing store," I said. "She was a huge fan."

"Was she?" Logan chuckled.

"Yeah, she basically had this huge smile the whole time and was speechless."

"Well, you are pretty handsome. Imagine meeting your celebrity crush and them trying to talk to you."

We got up and made our way to the exit. We hopped in my car and she directed me back to her place. We pulled up to a tiny cottage-style house. Outside was a green Land Rover Discovery.

"Sick car,"  I looked over at her. She smiled. "Thanks, it was my dream car. I worked really hard for it."

I looked at the clock and sighed. It was getting pretty late, and I know that we were leaving soon to head to the next tour stop.

"I have to leave," I whispered sadly. She smiled halfheartedly, as if she was also sad.

"It's okay," she said, her voice cracking. I turned to face her.

"The tour ends in about a month. Can I see you again?" I asked her.

"Uhm, definitely," she said as her voice became more cheerful. "I'd love that."

We exchanged phone numbers and followed each other on Instagram and Twitter.

"Thank you again for the ice cream," Logan stated. "I had a great time."

"Yeah, me too," I leaned in with my eyes closed. When I didn't feel anything on my lips, I opened my one eye.

Logan laughed and leaned in, brushing her lips against mine. We broke apart.

"I'll see you soon," she said as she opened the car door.

"Soon!" I yelled. "One month!"

She started walking towards her front door.

"Don't forget me!" I yelled. She turned around and waved.

"Never!" she said with a smile before closing her front door behind her.

And with that, I drove off to my next meet-and-greet.
