Brooke Fathens swear to uphold the duties of my servant and maid to regain the life you are losing." His stern words falter at the end and I can hold up the flood gates no longer as I whince in agony. "Y...y...ye... s." My voice doesn't sound like my normal, cocky self. I drift away into a peaceful darkness as he says something I cannot comprehend. At least the pain is gone, I think before the void consumes me.
