"MEGAN'S PREGNANT!"
The room fills with cheers at Corbin's new admittance.
"Who's the father?" Mr. Blake calls across the room, which causes it to chuckle.

Corbin walks toward me, past exciting chatter, to my solemn reaction.
"You okay, Ezzie? I thought you'd be excited..."
I smile at him meekly. "I never thought I'd be an aunt." I suggest.
Corbin looks at me worriedly.
"Ezzie, it's going to be okay..."
"But, Corbin, how do you know? What if it gets bullied? What if it gets depression? What if one of us die and it decides it can't go on so it commits suicide?"
Understanding crosses my brother's face. He sighs, considering my discomfort.
"Ezrynn," he takes my hand, "We don't know. We don't know if he'll get bullied, depression, anxiety, anorexia, or suicidal thoughts. We don't know if he'll be born with a physical or mental disorder, don't know if he'll like our family, if he'll be nerdy like you or totally awesome like me." He nudges my shoulder playfully. "But, Ezrynn, that's a chance everyone's gotta take, everyone needs to understand. Bad things happen, Ezrynn. Bad things have happened. But not too bad that your brother here didn't think of before trying with Megan. Ezrynn, all I can ask for is that he'll get it better than you, because that's the worst scenario in my opinion. And I know he will, because Megan and I will do nothing to hurt him, and we sure as heck won't let anyone else hurt him. At least not too bad." He winks at me. "Okay, Ezzie? We know that something might happen, something horrible, something sad, but that's a risk everyone's gotta take, you hear?" He squeezes my hand. "You hear?"
I sigh. "I hear."
"Then let's go eat some nachos. The Blakes brought them over for tonight, before they knew about the big surprise." He kisses my cheek. "Up we get, Ezzie. Up we get."

A/N
Hello, HDS lovers! Here is your fist look at "Their Bright Future," by muá.
I will answer pretty much no questions on this first look, only because I have already thought of all the possible ones because I'm awesome.
Everything will be in the next chapter, the timezone and all. Let us just say your characters have done a lot of growing up in the time they've been nonexistent, a lot indeed;)
Should I do an author's note every time, maybe with some fun-ish games for possible shout outs?
Or would it be more professional to not? Lol, you know what? I don't care if it doesn't look professional, I just care to see if anyone would play.
Should I also come up with a nickname for da readers? (Hehe, see how slang I'm being, soulseaker123 ? #InsideJoke)
