Y/n's eyes fluttered open, the harsh light of the forest filtering through the trees above, casting shadows that danced across the forest floor.

The world around her felt distant, as if she were looking at it from a great height, unable to reach it.

Her body was heavy, each breath labored as though the weight of the battle had settled deep within her bones.

A cold sweat clung to her skin, her fingers trembling slightly as they brushed against the ground.

The air was thick, too thick, and there was a buzzing in her ears, a relentless hum that made everything feel off.

Her pulse raced, and with each heartbeat, her mind struggled to catch up with her body.

The sharpness of the battle, the adrenaline, and the panic, all seemed distant now, a foggy memory she couldn't fully grasp.

The echoes of Momoshiki's power still lingered, deep inside her, like a shadow she couldn't outrun.

She could still feel it, the surge of energy, the overwhelming rush of foreign chakra coursing through her veins, the raw, uncontrolled force that had taken over her body, and the terrifying certainty that she had not been in command of it.

Fragments flashed in her mind, brief and disjointed. Blinding light.

The sound of crashing energy. Her own voice, or was it not hers?

The bitter taste of something insidious, something dark, something that wasn't her.

Every burst of power had felt like being torn apart and put back together, not by her own will, but by something else entirely.

She had fought, but had she really? Or had Momoshiki fought for her, through her?

A wave of nausea surged in her gut as she struggled to sit up, her arms shaking beneath her as they tried to lift her. But she couldn't.

Her body was too weak, too broken from the battle.

The energy was gone, drained, leaving her with nothing but an overwhelming emptiness.

And the haunting feeling of having been someone else.

She could still hear it, echoing in the back of her mind, that voice that wasn't hers, that hunger for destruction.

The power of Momoshiki, so vast, so terrifying, it wasn't just a weapon. It was a force that sought control, sought to be in charge of her very will.

And it had almost won.

What had happened? She couldn't piece it together, couldn't remember clearly.

Everything felt like a blur, flashes of action that meant nothing now.

The battle was over, but its consequences were just beginning.

Her chakra reserves were dangerously low.

She could feel the drain, the heavy emptiness inside her, like a well that had run dry.

Her hands, her legs, every part of her ached as if the very act of existing was an effort.

Y/n closed her eyes and let her head fall back against the ground, the coolness of the earth a stark contrast to the heat that still radiated from her skin. She was afraid.

Afraid of the power that had surged through her, of the way it had taken control.

And even more terrified of how easily it could happen again.
