Macy and Sophia took a deep breath as they walked down into the terminal to catch their flight to London. They were on their way to their new flat to start a new beginning. The best friends walked side by side luggage in hands, and stepped into the plane. "What's our seat numbers again?" asked Macy as she rummaged through her purse to find her ticket. "Um...7D and 8D." Sophia said, handing Macy her ticket. They found their way to the back of the plane where their seats were located. The plane was small and tight, lucky for them it was only two in a section. As they situated themselves, they sat down excitedly and turned to each other. "I can't believe we're actually moving to England." Macy said with a devilish big grin on her face. Sophia nodded and sighed "Yeah, I'm just happy to be leaving our old lives behind, I don't think I would be able to take one more day at my house, with Randy's drinking problem, and my brothers court case coming up, I don't think I could be able to survive there anymore." She said quietly and looked out the window. Macy frowned "Why is your mom even married to Randy, hes a creep." Macy said trying to comfort Sophia. Sophia turned and smiled at Macy. She let out a deep breath. "But that's all over with because were moving to England!" Sophia said happily. The flight attendant then announced that they were lifting off, and the girls squealed with excitement. They were finally on their way, one step closer to all their dreams coming true.

Macy's POV:

We had just arrived at the Heathrow Airport in London. I could not believe I was in London, the city of my dreams, with my best friend right beside me. The whole thing was so surreal to me. Soph had gone through so much in the past three years, this was perfect for a new beginning. A whole 3578 miles from the shitty life we left behind. I had been counting down the days since my junior year of high school, that I would be moving to London. I am now 19 years old and Soph is 18. We have known each other since we were toddlers. My parents were murdered when I was 8, and I have been living with Soph ever since.  The murderer of my parents was never caught, which is kinda scary considering he could still be out there. Another reason why I am more than happy to be moving here with Soph, I'm finally getting out of the place that has been haunting me for years and starting fresh.

We arrived at our flat about a half an hour later and it was a lot bigger than what we thought it would be. It had high ceilings and a loft. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. "Are you sure we're at the right place?" Sophia asked. I was honestly thinking the same thing. The rent was way to low for this kind of apartment, or "flat" as they call it here.

We settled in to our new flat. The kitchen was huge and I mean huge!  I was super excited because my dream was to become a baker eventually down the road. And this kitchen would actually help! It had a granite counter top and really fancy appliances. I was so glad the flat was furnished. The only thing the place was missing was a washer and dryer.

"I'm going to go look around and see if there's a washer and dryer anywhere in the building!" I yelled at Sophia who was unpacking. There better be a laundry room, I thought. I go down the few flights of stairs and go up to the front desk.

"Hi, I was wondering if there was a laundry room anywhere in the building!" I said with a smile. The woman looked at me like I was stupid. She popped her gum and very rudely said "Its down that hall and to the right. Right by where the sign that says Laundry?" I looked to where her finger was pointing and sure enough! There was the laundry room. "Thank you!" I replied, brushing off her bitchy tone almost running towards the door. I looked inside to see the laundry machines, which were surprisingly free? This place had to be to good to be true. It felt like a dream!

I turned around to bump in to something, and the next thing I knew i was on the ground surrounded by a huge pile of clothes. I look to see my shirt had ridden up a little to show my large bruise. "Shit!" I cursed under my breath pulling my shirt down so no one would see, but it was too late. "Shit! Did I do that? Oh my god I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Does anything hurt?"  I look up to see a extremely attractive curly haired boy with green eyes staring down at me. "Uh. Yeah I'm totally fine! And I had the bruise before. I uhh.. I fell! Yeah that's it, I fell! Clumsy me!" I said back as quickly as possible, trying not to stutter too much. "You sure you're alright?" The boy said not quite believing me. "Yeah I'm positive!" The boy who looked to be around 19 held his hands out to help me up. "Um thanks.." I said as I grabbed his hands and he pulled me up. "Sure thing babe" He replied with a cheeky smile and a wink. I could just tell he was a major flirt from the two minutes I had spent with him. I turned to start walking away when I heard him say "My name's Harry, by the way" "Macy" I replied shaking my head. "I don't think I've seen you around before.. You new here?" Harry said. "Uh yeah my friend Sophia and I just moved in." I replied. "What room?" Harry asked. "Uh.. 217?" I replied hesitantly. "Looks like you're my new next door neighbor." Harry replied with a wink.
