Only human??? (A Rose hathaway story)

Chapter 2 - Tyler

I closed my eyes shut refusing to let go of the ever-fading sleep. Then the events of last night came back.

He was here .....

Tyler

Getting revenge on what happened last fall.

Then I heard it a breathing presence, he was here. Mustering as much courage as I had, I rised slowly, desperately trying to act brave.

Be strong rose, strong I kept repeating in my head. Be brave don't act scared.

Then I saw him his short chocolate brown hair that was as soft as silk, his soft sweet lips that were as gentle as

Snap out of it girl I thought he tried to kill you and probably is going too.

I forced myself to meet his gaze. Those eyes which were once a crystal blue were now a deadly red colour.

"Your awake rose" he murmured with scorn dripping of each word.

"Where am I you pathetic little monster" I snarled back

"Time will tell my sweetheart" he said casually back , before leaving the room and locking the door, behind him.

After my 7th attempt of trying to brake the door down , I came to a conclusion , that it was pointless. I would have to come up with a better plan

What the hell had I done to deserve this?

I was scared

I didn't have a clue what had happened to him

Why he had fangs and piercing red eyes

And drank blood off a person , till they were dead

Or even why he kept saying I was a dhampir

But one thing I did know was that I'd have to escape and fast

By the way my name is Rose Hathaway and I am 16 years old and look like a semi exotic princess with my brown hair and eyes. My mum and dad left me alone at birth , so I was raised with my cousin ridley. Who is now dead. So I'm pretty much a orphan now. Me and ridley weren't exactly best buddies but nevertheless I will still miss her.

I attend or should I say did attend West midlands high school. But well I got kicked out because of a prank last fall, which went horribly wrong. Which by the way wasn't my fault. Anyway I am strong and fast and was the best at school for PE. My teacher said I could be a promising athlete in the future. Although I do fail at everything else especially maths , art and science.

And most importantly the school is where I met Tyler and Olivia (my best friend). Olivia has dark black hair that came just below the shoulder. She was really tall like a model and the most bubbly , fun loving , girl you would ever meet. Her eyes were the greenest eyes , I have ever seen and topped off with a slim figure, she was in all the boys dreams. Olivia was the one that introduced me to Tyler. At the time I rember him as funny , sarcastic and good looking. What else would a girl want?

But then he started to change

On my 16th birthday Tyler charged in and tied me , Olivia and ridley to a chair. He then tortured us and even drank blood from us. I know that sounds horrible but it was kinda nice , in a way. Well anyway ridley begged him to stop, but he wouldn't listen. Not even to me his girlfriend. After 4 days of this torture , a group of people charged in wearing black. I don't know who they were , but we'll one of them was extremely hot. I know what you are thinking how could I think that , in the middle of it all. But I did. He had brown hair which came just below the chin and Hazel eyes ; he also wore a leather duster like cowboys do. But anyway they saved me, as for Olivia and ridley it was too late. Before they could talk to me , I jumped out the windows , never looking back.

Unfortunately for me Tyler escaped from their grasp and we'll started to hunt me down. He has got me now though and if I don't escape soon I will have the same fate as dear Olivia and ridley did.
